Hi there everyone.

The Demonic Pinatas have arisen from the Light only knows where. All that is known is that these creatures are roaming the Realms, raining destruction on all who oppose them. They seem to be immune to all weapons. However, Brother Giles of the Cathedral of Ways mentions that he seems to have an unending stock of Holy Pinata Bats at his shop.

The Warriors of the Realms must gather together to rid the Communities of these horrifying creatures!

Demonic Pinata (Level 25)

The latest Global Event in Fallen Sword is now underway! In the Event, the Community must work together to destroy the Demonic Pinatas plaguing the realms.

Each player must earn a personal target for increasingly bountiful Frag Stashes (mouse over the event info on the World page for more details) while also helping the Community to attain the best total kills possible, unlocking the rewards for all.

The Global Event shall be live until 12:30 (Server Time) on the 19th of April 2016.

For each tier that the community completes the reward will be as follows:

Bronze : 1 x Global Bronze Frag Stash II
Silver : 1 x Global Silver Frag Stash II
Gold : 2 x Global Gold Frag Stash II
Crystal : 2 x Global Crystal Frag Stash II
Ruby : 3 x Global Ruby Frag Stash II

If you qualified, the reward(s) will be delivered to your mailbox shortly after the event ends. Note that you get the reward for the tier that you have qualified for, for example if the community unlocks Gold, but you qualify for Silver, you will receive 1 x Global Silver Frag Stash. You don't receive the rewards from lower tiers, only the tier you have qualified for.

Also if you are placed within the top 100 event contributors you will receive 2 additional Ruby chest rewards.

There is a helpful forum post RIGHT HERE full of information on Global hunting grounds and so on compiled from the Community by Egami.

Good luck everyone!

~ The Fallen Sword Team

Nice, thank you very much.

Hope the FS community makes it to Ruby for us composers and, oddly enough, especially for my clients that deserve it.

This is one of those that I think best shows community spirit. Do it for your Guild composer or the Travelling Composer you purchase from! lol.

Thank you HCS and prosperous smacking everyone! (o0

EDIT: PS... BG has already done close to 40k hits. I'm contacting the SEC or, wait... British, British... FSA. Clear case of insider info. ,oP

Cheers for the global!

I still say you ought to have a medal  for frag hoarding, it might drag even more folk into these events.

It may encourage me to participate in this event, I am virtually drowning in every fragment type.

I having enough fragment type too and not doing fragment events anymore, for me using my stamina on hunting is better for my game character building

giving Lib 750 to players who doing 100k kills will only rewarding players with huge stamina banks and increasing level difference between low and high players more

in beginning global events was 1 every month and we having many players joining because they were rare, then some players starting saying they needing more global events and now we getting 2-3 every month, it is not surprise that activity is decreasing with global events getting more

I don't expect this event to reach the ruby level for the community, neither did the last frag GE.

The Easter GE was knocked out of the ball park.

Community participation is relative to the reward given.

..... and the frequency of the event ....

You cannot compose without THOUSANDS of frags and FREQUENCY has nothing to do with the Frag events being slow. They are slow because there are fewer needing the frags at this particular moment. Thus, why not give a decent award to at least assure we can at least get the ruby award. You can sure tell who IS NOT composing just from the comments here.

Given I made the frequency comment, I'll assume that some, if not all, of that post above was aimed at me (rightly or wrongly).

I do compose, I'm not quite at EOC, but am level 53 (so, not too far off) and I compose each and every day (and thus, do use copious amounts of fragments).

Fewer need the fragments now ? - yup, agreed.

Does that mean that fragment GE's need a better reward ? - nope, not in my opinion anyway.

Even if this event only hits silver (which, atm, is a big ask), then it doesn't matter. Folk are doing the hits they want. 34 of the current top 10 are between 7K and 7.1K kills - so, just enough for the maximum reward - IF it gets there. A LOT of people do the minimum required.

The fault isn't with them for doing the minimum, the fault is with the minimum being so low. Raise the personal targets by a factor of 2 or 3 and see what happens then ?

I'm among that 7k category and if you look at my stam you'll see I'm nearly out of it. lol  I keep adding stam but it is a slow build. I'll do more when I have more stam.

I get 1 hunt a week if I don't get distracted with buffing guild mates and the odd one out along with some titan hunts.

I'm having fun though if left to my devices and vices. lol

I went to look. I'm between 7.2 and 7.3k  lol I'm so little yet.

I have to say though, if they raise the personal amount/target  2 to 3 times, I'd give up.

It has to be something  attainable  in the time frame given.

Why ? - because you couldn't reach the top tier ?

You have 7.8K stamina. I don't know what your stamina regen is, but reaching 15K kills over a 5 day period should be a walk in the park for you ?

If you do the kills without a global booster (admittedly, it'll take much longer) with FI1K and, ideally, a Lady Luck potion you will probably get just as many frags that way ;)

if they did raise it, a lot of people give up.
what's bad is, Storybook has not been updated since 2011. and hasn't been released since 2013. Quango Island will probably end up in the same trap. Now that these quest have been written and can be easily dropped in. you're going to see them showing up more and more. to give the impression to new players, that there's something to look forward to do. until about the end of this year or next year around this time. when you will be lucky to get bronze or silver.

I always aim for the top tier, I have not always got there.  I started to hit the top tier when I hit 5k base stam.

My gain is not very high, it's expensive to get, and I don't post milestones nor does anyone else to do it for me asking for rewards of gold or dots for reaching milestone. lol  I am paying my own way with the work I put in.

I'm not stingy with my stam and if a guild mate asks for buffs, I will buff because I'm not in a hurry, even if I'm hunting.

There are several players in the game that have permission to call on me for free buffs at any time, again I'm not stingy with my stam.

Yes, it is slowing me down. No, I don't mind because I hope some of those players stay in the game.

When the admin and other players said to be nice to each other, I took it to heart and I am trying.

We all have our own reasons for playing the game, but everyone should at least hope everyone else is having fun if they are.

That help with understanding?  I sure hope so, because I might not always agree with you, but  your ok.

Your stam is yours to do with as you please - I'm just trying to figure out why you said you'd give up trying if they raised the personal "thresholds" for the rewards ...
