I've been lurking on the forums here for a long time, and haven't had much to say because the game is still being developed, and I like to have something concrete to comment on, heh.
Needless to say, I've been signed up as member for a couple of months now, and have seen not one single email from HC. Just curious if any updates via email have gone out, and if so, when.
I'm very much looking forward to Eldevin. My most recent Beta Testing has been for a neat little browser game called City of Steam, but they space out their beta events, and I have nothing to play in the meanwhile. Not to mention I really feel at home in a "middle earth" world with warriors, mages and monsters to attack, not to mention blue sky, green grass, and rivers.
My deepest fear is that Eldevin and the other game I am beta testing will open at the same time. Will be a tough choice, as I'll really be pulled in either direction.

That's true we haven't used the mailing list a great deal for Eldevin updates. I think we've been saving it for major updates so we don't spam peoples inboxes too much. We will definitely be using it for beta announcements so folk wont miss the important stuff
