The framerate seems to significantly drop when I view the inventory in an area with NPCs, active scenery (such as the movement of the ore mill), or other players.

 

Running in Firefox on Ubtunu 13.04

Java Plugin v 10.45.2

 

Intel i5-2520M 2.50GHz

Intel HD 3000

4GB RAM

People have reported that if you run Java 8 on Linux you should achieve better performance. There may be other issues with Java 8 as it's still in beta.
