Stuck in loading splash after login jar client

Ok changed Renderer to:

 

Renderer = hardware_newt (this is the default)

Renderer = hardware

Renderer = software

 

and now I'm back to where I started stuck on loading at splash..

Are you running the shell script or just double clicking the jar?

 

In a terminal window try to launch the game with the following command:

java -Xmx1024M -jar gbloader.jar

 

You can change 1024M to something lower like 512M if you are running the newt version, but not in the software version.

I am just open the .jar file, I did try eldevin.sh and it didn't work unless I manually edited the script directing it to gbloader.jar but both ways still get stuck on the splash screen also I don't need to lower it as I have modern hardware and 8gb of ram. it seems to freeze every time it starts loading the game and gets stuck on splash, they really need to fix there game so people can actually play the game...

gameslayer, this was a older bug they fixed. Make a new thread for your problem

does this game work on linux at all?

I had to install an old version of java (8) to get it even to start. 

Now it freezes with 'Loading Splash', and after i kill it, i see

FATAL ERROR in native method: Nativewindow X11 IOError: Display 0x7f27ac00efe0 (:0): Resource temporarily unavailable
