There has been a lot of discussion on this thread about various aspects of the game such as de-leveling via the Bounty Board, gaining XP of creature much higher level etc. I've read all the comments and many players have a strong opinion on both sides of the discussion. I think the following changes to the game would make sense and be fairest based on what I've been reading:

 

1) Add an Gold upgrade option which allows you to de-level you character for 'x' gold per level (based on your level and the amount of levels you want to drop). This would be usable once per day.

 

2) Apply a stat reduction to characters attacking creatures (Normal, Champions and Elites) which are much higher than your current AL. For example:

 

Creature between 6 and 10 levels above: -50% to stats

Creature between 11 and 15 levels above: -75% to stats

Creature between 16+ levels above: -95% to stats

3) Reduce the amount of XP gained if the creature is 5 or more levels above your current AL by 5% per level the creature is higher than you.

 

I'm happy to tweak this more based on feedback, but please keep it civil and constructive :)

i imagine this ONLY applies to regular creatures and champions? and excludes super elites, titans, global, and legendary creatures

 

..other than that verification, i'm all for these changes  :)

Hoof please don't forget to fix being able to take more then one bounty on the same person before completing the first. Also, correct it so you can not bounty before attacking(only accepting you can bounty is the way it is now).

i would think more,

6 to 10 = 20%

11 to 15 = 40%

16 to 20 = 60%

21+ = 80%

 

slow connection and a sudden influx of parties then you gotta go to the trouble of heading back to krul if you make it too extreme, either way i dont care much but it does seem extreme in its earlier foundations.

Yeah, being able to bounty someone for simply accepting to undertake your bounty was never a good idea.

Problem there juvi is that the epic potions make those reductions negligible. The numbers I put forward initially and what Hoof as gone with for now are set up as so one bounty can't really affect you, but any more than that and you'll have to change your hunting grounds.

No plain and simple the uproar will calm down after the exp event is over. Its been like this for how many years and hasn't caused much of an issue. Why change something that's not harming anyone.

just one question hoof: if this gets approved then when will it be implemented? (BEFORE or AFTER xp event)???

If your goin to add all of these restrictions in at least do it in a more gradual schedule.

0-50 levels no reductions (wars do happen!)
50-150 your 1st reduction
150-250 2nd reduction
250+ the final reduction

If you check on some current people they are 500+ levels lost your proposed numbers allow deleveling sure, but pretty much stop any type of big hunt people are goin for let us at least use some stam before penalties!
