What I'm curious about is why they gave us Bound lvl 5 gear / i hope they will consider undoing that or at least make it guild bound

The reason for this is that the booster packs were intended to pull new players into the game; they just gave existing players the booster packs to be nice (and to keep us from complaining).  You're still getting a LOT of stamina and some backpack slots for free.

it looks like an awesome set up  and would be a nice way to introduce some new LE gear but with it being bound most of the sets will just be thrown away - a nice option would be the ability to make it  bound to the guild if a player so decides

Man, we didn't have all that nice swag in the beginning.

 

I envy the new players; us old geezers to the game didn't have it that easy. Yup, it was up hill both ways in the snow !  Darmov's Set and Frost Set we all we really had. Navigation was up,down,right or left one click at a time. There wasn't the auto-map they have now.

 

Enough of that rubbish.
