Both starting Eldevin from Client directly or through steam doesn't work.

I start the application. A small window comes up saying updating Eldevin and I see in the Window falsh by:

Unpacking core and after that nothing, the application just abords

Uninstalled both the client and Java, cleared cache but all that had no effect.

Playing Eldevin through the browser still works

have you down loaded the game from steam? you can't use the old client when using with steam you have to download it again through steam.

Downloaded the game from Steam and started it from Steam - application abords

Downloaded the game from HCS and started it from the link on the desktop - applicatoin abords

 

remark: full  uninstall was done before installations

Please try again, I have just cleared the cdn cache just in case that was the cause.

Go to...

Start - Controll panell - Java - Settings - Delete temp. file.

I already removed the java cache, even uninstalled and reinstalled the latest downloaded version of Java. But to make sure I removed the cache again, I can see that something is being downloaded, next it says unpacking core, after which the little progress window closes and after that nothing; the Eldevin Client does not open. It doesn't matter if you do this from Steam or the Client. Effect is the same

I have exactly the same problem. I am using steam, there was no problem before and I am playing just fine. But a little while ago I change some graphic setting and it says it need to restart. So I quit the game and when I start it again, this problem came up.

Same problem here on mac client, the preloader works, as soona s the game window appears, it all stays grey.

Try checking through this thread. I know there's a section about game not loading etc.
