Psshh naah! You guys have got to be kiddin' me! Game doesn't need new content at all. HCS knows best. They know people are gonna keep playing and paying even without new content. From a business standpoint, why even bother. So yeah I'll vote "Nah", that one vote you see there, that'd be mine!
The level 50 content, they'll release it when they release it. Do I think they'll release it? 50/50. The one question that matters though is what's next after the level 50 content? You see, Java isn't a good gaming platform to begin with, it's not as efficient as other gaming platforms, factor in the small development team that isn't enough to make up for the inefficiencies of having a game in Java, combine that with the fact that NPAPI deprecation is in effect on all major browsers which INCLUDES Java. Pretty much easy to see that things are working against HCS in terms of Eldevin.
Not to mention the amount of time it takes to release a level 50 content which has been created along with the content that we have now. How long do you think will it take for HCS to release level 51 onwards? content in which they'll be starting from 0.
Now don't misunderstand me, I love this game. I don't want it to end even though I don't play anymore, I want for there to be new content. But the way I see it, HCS definitely knows that players old or new will keep playing as it is that they're gonna be tolerated. I don't blame the players nor HCS it's just how it is. Sure a lot of veteran players quit the game, but new ones come in everyday in addition to THOSE who still play, those who still do dailies/dungeons and whatever hoping to get somewhere (OH YOU GUYS KNOW WHO YOU ARE! ). HCS knows their statistics and figures and if things are stable as it is, meaning still being able to keep the game up while making some $$$ though not big, why destablize it.
And before anyone says "They'll get more money if they get more content and get more players", maybe but would you risk traveling on a sinking boat that is Java?
