I have items in my inventory that I would like to sell but none of the NPC's (traders and other) do buy anything.  If they do I can't figure it out.  I'm  right at the begining with the snow lepard pelts and pick axes.  Can someone help me please?

Unfortunately there are not any NPC traders. To sell gear, you can go to Actions>>Auction House>>Then create an auction. Other players may purchase it if the price is right

You might also check out the composing feature (under the Actions menu) as an alternative way of reusing unwanted items.

Would give more meaning to misc gear that no one is going to purchase or use for those of us who don't care to compose...Let it be known this guys level 8 and he's wondering how to sell items this is something that HCS's should look at and learn from

There are usually plenty of players who do compose who buy gear from players, so those who don't compose can probably find one of those players and sell all their unwanted stuff to them.

 

If I remember correctly, HCS declined adding NPCs that buy junk due to they didn't want more gold entering the game this way.

I think you have it reversed it's 50K gold for 1 dot, not 1 dot for 50K gold...want to see gold disappear from the game and drive PvP'ers nuts, then institute a 1 dot for 50K gold upgrade....

Anyway...dumb question, mostly because this is the only game I play....What's a NPC?
 
Also, for the OP....There are always players willing to buy items that can be broken down. I do it almost every day, as well as many others. You just have to find one that you can deal with, and you'll never have this issue again. This is, of course, if you don't want to use the auction house.

Basically a "person" that isn't an actual player, but instead one of those "people" on the map that you talk to for quests.

Hmmm..... I know some actual players that could be NPC's.... they don't really play, they just troll us nice folks in global....  could they be reclassified?
