I have noticed that lvl 50 ability costs 1000g and 1000g is also the limit of how much money you can carry as lvl 50. I doubt lvl 50's want to get max money for getting a ability as all money extra goes wasted. So my suggestion is a change to the max money formula.

Current formula: [character level] x 20g

New formula: [character level]

Level: (Current:) [New:]

2 (40g) [4g] - new players don't need even 4g

5 (100g) [25g] - If you gather and sell, you might reach the limit, but you can easily increase the limit

10 (200g) [100g] - At this level you get your first gem-slot gear and you don't need perfect gems on it

20 (400g) [400g] - At this level there is no difference between new and current

30 (600g) [900g] - +50%

40 (800g) [1600g] - double

45 (900g) [2025g] - max for non-supporters atm

50 (1000g) [2500g] - The currently known max level, at this level if you are not supporter you have to change your gold to EP, because it reaches the cap

Additional suggestion: Make a new sort of money - Platinum that's after the pattern 100g. The ore on lvl 64 could be platinum, but this would come with the fifth expansion, so it will take some time before that.

And what if HCS wants to make something even more expensive? or if they get enough lvl 50's so they desire to make lvl 55? (and have improved the existing content enough) I usually think how things would affect the long run. If you got a game with a quest-line that can be done in some months, many new players will not join. If you have looked on the 'new player feedback' thread you see that many question the decision to have max level at 50.

Don't forget vault - based on account lvl - Take alot longer to lvl then main lvl even so lvl 50 - account hold 2k Gold

As well Alt's unlocked each hold 20g/lvl as well - Not hard get 400 EP - Buying from other player's selling thing's so forth.

Any how Gold cap as is just fine, lvl 45 - lvl 30 account - 900g  + 600g in vault - any alt's hold 20g/lvl 2 lvl 45's almost hold 900g

all add's up look at this way around gold cap

Any how Gold cap 1 toon 1500g - Hold 900 any given time but vault hold over flow as needed!

If they add more expensive stuff they will change the goldcap with that. No need to worry about stuff that is years in the future

At the moment, I think the gold cap is fair. You can always store gold in your vault, and if I'm honest, at level 45 I don't ever see myself holding 900 gold at one time. This is because there are quite a few gold sinks like repair costs, gem fusing, etc. But, I have no problem if they raised it slightly to help out the non subscribers.
