How am i supposed to win in arena if i have level 1000-2500 playing in the level 585 fight..? I need someone to help me learn Arena so i can win. I need help learning combat moves and what is best. thanks. Please message me in game at iKillPie

arena only counts gear stats.  No bonuses for level up points, guild bonuses or anything else is used.  this ensures you can compete against higher level players on equal footing.

So does that mean the high levels are getting lower gear, joining and then changing gear?

someone correct me where i'm wrong...

 

if an arena says gear allowed from 50 - 75,  i put on gear in that level range

 

when i join, arena takes a picture of me in that set and locks it

 

after that i can wear whatever i want but the picture stays

It answers all your "it's not fair" questions. For example:

Q: Isn't it unfair that high level players can join low level tournaments? 

A: Due to the way the equip level works for tournaments, even if a high level joins, they will only have access to the same setups as a player at the max equip level, making it completely fair. (Remember the base stats, eg level up points, don't count!)
