Well everyone now and then has been blessed by one of the temple gods, but is very common that if you pray for Osvering so you have a little chance to get 20fsp, you mostly will fail instead of praying for Lindarsil which less players pray so you have a higher chance to win. (Thats how i believe its now)

Considering getting a bless its anyways hard and that each blessing last 24 hrs untill new day that someone else get blessed, shouldnt they be increased to boost different prays?

If you get blessed by Gurgriss God Of War, dude a god of war blessed you for 24 hrs... you should be way stronger for 24 hrs, dont you?

 

So as an idea to make this a bit more interesting as you never know when you might win a bless, trying to abuse this would be very hard and the idea is the following (not trying to disturb roadmap)

 

Depending on the god that bless you, u should get some special bonus for the next 24 hrs... it could be so...

 

Sahria-Goddess Of Fortune--> Treasure Hunter 250? Or Maybe a special buff just for the blessed players which just add a little more gold gain.

 

Osverin-God Of Wisdom--> Librarian 300? Or maybe a special buff just for the blessed players which just add a little more EXP like AL.

 

Gurgriss-God Of War--> Berserk 500? Or maybe a special buff just for the blessed players which just add a little more damage like Smashing Hammer.

 

Lindarsil-Goddess Of Magic--> Buff Master 400? Or maybe a special buff just for the blessed players which just add a little less buff casting cost like Guild Buffer.

 

 

So Maybe those could be the buffs you get for 24 hrs if you manage to get blessed, obviously they cant be stolen/destroyed and if this sound overpower, maybe the following would be cool aswell...

 

 

Sahria-Goddes Of Fortune--> 50% Discount on every gold upgrade purchase.

Osverin-God Of Wisdom--> 50% Lowered Fee for marketplace listenings.

Gurgriss-God Of War--> Double base reward while clearing a bounty.

Lindarsil-Goddes Of Magic--> 50% Discount for every potion made via composing (only gold not frags)

 

This is just an idea, honestly its like to boost the other gods and balance the winning system... just maybe and if its not accepted/liked its all good

i pray most every day, but don't hunt every day - so those buffs would be wasted most days

 

it would be nice if you got *something* for praying, even if was a token something - like a frag pouch with maybe 1 - 5 frags in it

 

unfortunately, i'm sure this would lead to a population boom of multis :/

I think instead of doing something along those lines, just update the prizes in the temples. Maybe boost the amount of fsp and gold received by a bit as 2 million gold or 20fsp really doesn't go far at all anymore and it's not a real big win for something that players should feel like they won the lottery (sort of). Also the items and potions are pretty worthless at this time in the game. Maybe put bound potions that have a bit more use (ew1500, lf600, etc.) in them. For items maybe put random legendary items in it.

The rewards / prizes are FREE ...

 

20 fsp is still 20 fsp and 2 million gold is still, give or take, 10 fsp.

 

Change the other 2 Gods rewards perhaps, so that they give out random pieces from crystalline SETS - but with very low durability (like between 5 and 10).

*shrug* So many other things I'd rather have HCS work on than this.  If there weren't significant aspects of the game that need attention like Arena, PvP, Ladder, GvG, Player Retention, Game Integrity (removal of scripts), etc, then I'd say hey let's go for this, but this to me is lovely but not essential.

Like the idea of getting buff package.. maybe some new selections to try to win? Only select those when you might want to hunt.. (lb, conseve al, nec, holy flame 400?)

     The game is already free to play.  And you want more (expletive deleted) free stuff?

 

      And yes, I pray to the gods.  So far I've been found worthy to be given 20 FSP, and a potion of enchant rune.

Indeed, its a free game as Temple is... The main idea here its not about getting more free stuff, just about a future Temple improving, if the community feels its needed and ask for it. Dont mix the things

Do we really have to nerf the game any more?  It's not SUPPOSED to be easy to be blessed by the gods.
