It is VERY easy to get xp from creatures.

A few handy hints:

1. You need to kill creatures to get xp

2. Always aim to kill creatures at or above your level (for optimum xp)

3. If you can try to wear items that form a complete set. This will give you Elite Hunter, which increases xp gain

4. If you can, try to use the skill/buff Adept Learner - it will increase the xp you gain from a creature

5. If you can afford to get it, the Librarian buff is also useful for extra xp.

I posted this elsewhere, but figure it is probably useful advice.

Adept Learner cast by a proficient user will give you +24% (skill at 120)

An elite set will give you about +18% (+-2%)

Librarian cast by a proficient user will give you about +12% (skill at 120)

Crace, you forgot something. If you come across a Super Elite, Find one of the top 250 players in total that will pay for its location and sell the location. you will get some FSP's out of it. DO NOT ATTACK IT. YOU WILL END UP BEING HORRIBLY KILLED AS THEY ARE THE BIGGEST CREATURES IN THE GAME!!!!!

I deliberately missed that out as I was discussing ways to gain xp, not lose it.

Not at the beginning it isn't.
It burns through stamina far too quickly to be useful for the first few levels.
Plus it is usually very expensive for low level players.

ummm guys............

If you have a very high level friend who is nice, you can ask for a conserve. Great for holding on to stamina. I agree with crace about doubler, unless you're someone who has donated to the game and can afford to have a max stamina of 1000 or more. AM is helpful at some point as well, but if I remember correctly there are plenty of creatures at low levels so you probably don't need it until lvl 30 or so.

well if you are a low level player you can ask someone to buff you. The skills are setted by levels. At level 1+ you can add points to Rage, Stun, Great Vigor, Find Item, Treasure Hunter and Deep Pockets. At level 25+ you can cast other buffs and the same goes on. But a higher level player can buff you with no problem. He can cast conserve at you even if yo uare level 9 or 10 ^_^

one should also concentrate on using weapons ( still in a complete set ) that give you one hit or at the most two hit kills. this improves stam usage. usually easy to do under lvl 100

don't be stupid. i've lost 100+XP to creatures 2 levels below mine. what's it gonna be to a creature above mine? 1000?! and buffs? i've blown 40-50 stamina on buffs & lost anyway. that's a sucker's game.

6. Doubler multiplies everything! Unless you lose a battle.

Does doubler waste stamina?

There really is no point getting doubler whilst you have base stamina as you will burn through it in no time anyway.

Doubler saves you a tiny bit of stamina as you are not walking around as much. However, on 500 stamina this is not cost effective, as doubler tends to be quite an expensive buff.
