Making Gold Useful

As everyone knows gold is blatantly the way lesser valuable between ep and gold. But its getting to the point where gold is literally useless, nobody will take gold for anything and if they do its at extreme prices. Gold needs some sort of "buff", where certain things need to have gold to be bought, repaired or something. I'm not sure exactly how to do this atm, but there definitely needs to be some kind of way to make gold at least somewhat valuable considering its the income of the actual in game money u make.

Isn't the reason gold is inflated because of story mode dungeon runs? Just decrease trash item drops there and boom, you solved gold inflation.. Maybe not totally but it would help.

More fundamentally, I think it is an inevitable consequence of EOC being so close to BOC, and the game spending so long at EOC. If (and when) EOC is much further on, then you will find a much smaller percentage of the population sitting around doing endless story-mode runs and amassing too much gold for the good of the game economy.

 

On the other hand, if you ask the players who are still levelling their first character, they'll tell you that gold is in short supply. Until you get to EOC and can do endless story-mode runs through the more lucrative dungeons, it takes a lot of effort to accumulate the 500-1000g for spells and mount-levels (at least it does without spending real money, or doing endless grinds for other people in order to get your gold).

Gem fusing is an outstanding gold sink (going even two tiers up requires a fair amount of gold, going more than that and you're talking serious gold). Currently however, the limiting factor for most people seems to be FP (until you get very high tier). There's alternate ways to get FP, but all of them are basically a grind.  

 

I had a suggestion a while back that would allow you to 'recycle' unwanted gear into FP/arcane shards, instead of selling it for straight gold (full post here: https://forums.hunte...on/#entry912687).

 

TL/DR of the topic:

Have a feature that gives arcane shards and/or fusion powder and/or other item for equipment, instead of selling to NPC for gold. Place this feature near the gem hearths.

 
It would encourage players to fuse gems, spend gold on shards (if it gave shards, could be set so you still have to buy some), spend EP on removing gems from equipment, and not give gold for selling the equipment.

Issue is at lvl 45, Considered Completed set - compelted jewarly set, completed basic of 10k gold for skill - bag slot upgrade's

After that initial 10k Gold or so not muchleft spend gold on.

 

Look at Gold drop's are GEm fusing Big limited do to FP - Gem to fuse

Death - repair fee's - Recuced do comuntie complaing - still farly dcent % of lose of gold.

 

Based on spent intial 10k gold or so for bag space skill's.

Other then these 2 what is there spend gold on ?

Why do people who want to play this game solo have to suffer compared to people who play in teams? If it wasn't for solo mode in dungeons I would not even be playing this game. We don't all like to team up with other players.

 

I think the main problem is with how EP can flow between players. EP is supposed to be the way you pay real money for accessing certain things in the game, so why can it be used in trades between players? That seems totally wrong to me. It should be personal. I currently have 12 EP myself, but I have never paid any real money to get them. The only way people should be able to get EP is by paying real money for them, then perhaps gold will begin to be valuable for the people who don't pay.

Game is working on non P2Win more so pay for convance, EP was all bound to user not alowed to trade need remove gold cap completly start with.

2 nd Effect make game pay to 2 win.

 

Vs amie Pay for convance.

 

 

Plently things Dev can add to game make gold usefull but have yet add much of any thing. As well make basic discrption of game less flase more acureted.

 

250 EP respec - 60 Day's Dose not = Classes or ablite learn any of 100 U"nic skill's flase mean;s here as limited to cash shop curcany vs in game mean.s PP - Artis point's - Gold Make this more so proper less Flase mean;s

 

Event's All about spending EP, Vs Spending Gold Easy way sink gold with event's that have soem fourm of Gold function vs limited to EP.

 

When guild ever do come into play depending on lvl functional mean's Supper easy way sink lot's of gold.

Guild Battle ground's - House - So much more way's Drop lot's of gold supper fastest.

 

Gem fusing ok mean to drop gold curntly only option but very limioted do to FP gain's to gem gain's.

Not effectibe Gold drop mean's.

 

TA - x999 stack's easy get gold not effected bye gold cap add's up easy - inblance of gold.

 

Gold, to be used in more way's then curntly limited Removing Gem's from gear Limited to EP - should have gold PP or artis - valor point option vs Limited to EP.

 

Major issue is Bind on Pick vs Bind on Equipted - with game being over bind on Pick - Equipeted Limited market for many item's sell or to resale so limited mean's for those take Gold for these item's vs EP most item cost them fare amount time then bound to user top of that not even account bound so unable trasfer to alt.

 

Add Unbinding Stone Bought with Gold easy eay drop some gold. But follow like every thing els EP limited.

 

So many thing can be added or to game as is simple update code line or to game alow gold as option with out change much of any thing to over all game.
