Special thank's to John for letting me be part of the beta/post release feedback group, it was really enjoyable to brainstorm stuff with you guy's.

Hey folks,

 

Sorry for the lack of updates as of late, unfortunately Eldevin never quite gained the following it required for us to justify allocating our full development team to it. As such we've had to scale down development time. However we intend to continue to fully support the game and still plan to release future updates, but currently we have no time-scale for these as of yet.

An idea for a new type of World Boss/Event type of thing.

 

Void Rift.

 

A rift from the void opens up somewhere (random every time, similar to troll but more varied) and creatures from the void spill out. There is no notification, it is left for players to find.

 

To defeat this requires two things.

 

One is people on the outside stopping the spread of void creatures.

 

Secondly, a group/groups to go into the void and kill the boss that opened the rift.

 

If the players on the outside do not adequately kill the void creatures, then the void creatures will seal the group/s on the inside which will result in a wipe. So groups will have to be split up and work together to beat it.

 

Once boss is beaten on the inside a chest will drop for each participant with relevant loot.

I've suggested this before, going to mention it again as I still like the idea :)

 

With people once again posting and discussing builds, I'd like to see a 'build discussion' category.  As it currently stands, these discussions get lost in the general or help category, and have to be dug out or redone when someone inevitably asks again.

 

It would also be interesting to track how builds have evolved over time.

 

I've considered sub-categories for each class (plus one for hybrid), but I think that would be overkill.

I think Founder Items should be it's own colour - as they are discontinued items. And so people know that these are categorized as "discontinued" - something that won't ever come back.

 

Some items share the same colour (white) with Founder's and it doesn't really make much sense if assuming that the items are in categories by rarity or item groups? Not really sure how it's grouped, but by rarity - it does need it's own colour.

 

One example is manure - being white. To be same colour as founder's is well amusing.  :lol:

Personal mundain loot gray - white not even worth picking up, stasrt with care less about using V otion start with Pick up blue - gold - green only bag worth picking up.

 

Persoanly option was added, With pointless wast of time start with, Unless Filter option more right careless about it like mongo stated Loot's what ever near you - Unless option Only pick up Green Blue Yeelow/Gold  Fare more usefull.

  • Let us track multiple quests on the map + log at once
  • Add quest arrows to the big (M) map
  • Add zoom levels on the big (M) map. Add one between the existing two and one bigger than the biggest one
  • Allow the minimap to be resizable. It's laughably small
  • Automatically add dailies to the quest list if they've been completed once already.

It is a bit difficult to keep track of 400+ potions in your inventory, since that means that you are losing 40 inventory slots, with no alternative. I suggest that potions should be able to be stacked in sacks, or to have some ability to stack them together. As a warrior, I'm very dependent on my potions for buffs and for heals, and I'm sure pretty much every other class is too. Also, it is nearly impossible to make many potions and then stash them away, because you can easily fill up your bank by doing this, so I think it would be a big favor to everyone if we didn't have to destroy our inventories and banks just to stay alive.

Melee, ranged, or spell damage. What type of damage does a certain attack from a certain enemy deal? I'd really like to be able to find out that information without having to constantly receive damage and make records.

Edit: I actually trolled this pvp by logging out at the last second of queue. Then this happened. Pvp starts, I got loading to realm(to the pvp place), screen flashed, loading to realm again (back to where I was standing before pvp). 

 Actually, its 19709minutes now. Sorry HCS!

I think this has been suggested in the past, but I'd really like it if we could label our backpacks.

Having 8 large backpacks only labeled "large backpack" is frustrating when having to remember which holds my farming supplies, my foraging items or my miscellaneous items.   And as you can see, I'm not great with organizational skills as it is.

Basically what the title says.I like to play Queue pvp on many of my different characters.But the way the HCS sets it, you make it so you have to play one character only to save up for vanity items.Making it account wide makes it so we can have fun playing different classes in pvp while still earning a vanity reward.

Thought i suggested this before but can't find the post.

Change the mouseover to tell you the total number of the items in your packs.

Just have a Total on the mouseover. I mousovered the 100 copper ore and it tells me i have a total of 160 copper ore in all my packs.

If it has been noted already, will it be done or is it too much work?

To mark One Year of Eldevin, I hear that all characters will be reset and all storage emptied.  :)

This could be good, all the peeps that exploited bugs would lose all they have, and get this, MONGO would lose all of his EP Mwuahaha :P
