#946859 Extra bar space [or two] for spells

Posted by NatsuMichi on 27 August 2015 - 19:20

I might be a little too spoiled by Lineage II's ammount of bars that I could have put all the useful/useless stuff into, but two bars with 12 spaces for spells is not nearly enough here, especially not when you are going for a hybrid build. My awesome plan for a Paladin crashed and burned on this, because I simply ran out of space to put my spells on  :P

Now with a standard build I guess it'll be enough, but isn't the whole idea of being able to experiment with different specs part of this game's advertisement? Build whatever you want, experiment, have fun with it etc etc?

It doesn't really work there ^^ Also, with all the emotes and mounts and what not, it'd be cool to have that on hand and not have to fumble through the spellbook :D

PS: I don't know if there is a way to do this or not, but for some reason you cannot add one spell twice to the bar? Because...that'd be helpful as well; now that I have the extra space, I really need my impale everywhere because reasons

#935205 great fix for TA issue

Posted by NatsuMichi on 10 June 2015 - 22:41

Anyone who ever played a PvP and PvE mixed MMOs, Lineage II for instance, know that combining the two is too tricky to handle right. PvP skilled players always...let me say that again...always gain the high ground because of the advantage they gain just by being PvP. Ever had a farmer clan/alliance conquer most of the castles? Nope. Farmer clan ever killed World Bosses to gain the best eq easily? Nope. Ever got the best farming spot on high levels? Nah uh. And so on and so forth.

When you put a raid boss, or whatever you want to call it, in that people literally have to fight over to kill and loot in the single PvP location in the world, then you guarantee that the PvPers and their spec'd builds will have little to no contest amongst PvE players/builds and/or partying like it's 1969 peace loving noob hippies (like me xD). The only competition will be other PvPers, essencially. It'd basically be a big "ya, sure, you can come bother the PvPers for a while but you're never getting your hands on this loot ever, silly little farmer, bye bah!". Sure, there are some pretty scary PvP hunters out there, and if, perhaps the ENTIRE server unites and groups on the PvPers then yeah, there's a chance. But...like...where is the fun in that again?

Iinstead of solving problems, it creates more I'm afraid...sorry ^^

Best solution to the TA problem that I have found, personally - don't go to TA  My life was never better since I've started practising this simple art of problem evasion :P I do my daily gathering, catch a PL when I can survive Joe's burning combo to da face (I always count that as a win and am happy for the rest of the day) and that's it, all is good and well in Sheyla's land. Fu TA, prosper

#934111 so these ASV gold bags kinda set me off....

And people still ask me why I won't rush lvling up as a tank  With every lvl I only keep hearing how the BS gets worse and worse xD

Considering how important a tank is, this game gives you absolutely no motivation (other than your own preferance to play this role compared to others, which is my case) to play it...definitely not from lvl 1 to max. You definitely don't have a problem finding groups, but that's about it. That's literally it for the plus side of Templar. What else can you do?

Solo farm dungeons perhaps? Nope. Do quests efficiently? Nope. Farm mobs your own lvl for xp without stabbing yourself with your own shield at the end of the day? Nope. Survive on TA? Hah, nope. Fight back on TA? *dies of laughter*

I don't care much for the whole TA drama, but should I be more of a PvP person I would have rage quitted tank a long time ago. Never has there been a game where tanks have absolutely zero strength in PVP. Even Lineage sucky tanks could take a punch and throw it right back (hell they could TAUNT players ffs). Having respecd to a "Paladin" it got 100% funnier on TA for me, since people my own lvl can throw everything they have on me and I'll heal it right back no problem (nobody my own lvl attacks me though bwahaha), but that's it again. I can stand there and heal myself until I run out of mana potions or some 47lvl comes in and ignites a fire under my pants. SO much "fun" In the end, tank can't tank sheeeet in this game ^^ PvE, sure...kind of. PVP wise he's just hilarious

Thankfully there are still people who will help you out if need be, with running dungeons and farming stuff like flakes, rep quests etc. Thought tanks were supposed to be the badass warriors in shining armour with a swift hammer policy, but in Eldevin they are more like women and children on the Titanic. They go first, they -sometimes- live and then they still let the men do the paddling -_-

Don't I just love being a tank though ^^ I love every torturous second of it!

Let´s not forget the suspicious thief running wild around the market...Eldevin City is turning into a lair of organized crime! All the while the guards are too busy tending Prince Ryan´s swingers parties

#910007 Dungeon Queueing

Not every dungeon requires templar and healer...please  Make us even more useless...please ^^

It'd be nice to know who are we Qing up with, not just role, but a name also. It gets awkward when you get teleported in the middle of your mortal enemies
