It shouldn't have anything to do with your graphics card.. It probably has something to do with the game's code having issues with the browser or something else along the way before you view it...
It's no coincidence that the moment I updated my graphics cards drivers, the black boxes came. I've already sent in a support ticket and HCS said it wasn't on them.
To even further make sure it was AMD's issue (or a combo of chrome and AMD, which after typing this I believe to be the case) I completely uninstalled my drivers -> tested FS -> No black boxes. Then, when I reinstalled my drivers and tested FS, the black boxes were there.
This issue doesn't happen in Internet Explorer though.
I don't remember my exact thought process when I built my composing calculator.... But to get to 51 from 50, it requires 6,187,500 Gold alone. Levels 40 -> 49 require a bit more than 50 million gold. I *can* get you the exact total if you really want, or someone else can. I'm feeling a bit lazy at the moment.
I'd honestly be up for second composing potion slot at level 1. It got to quite a bit of the patience fest with only 1 composing potion at level 4.
All in all though, it really depends on HCS's stance on this.
I haven't hit EOC..... yet. But, why doesn't HCS just make new content once a month? That way it's spread out over a large portion of the month and it doesn't have to be as "bare" as it is now. That's just my take on it anyhow.
Edit: After reading the final paragraph of your post, I would rather them work out the current issues there are. The intermittent lag, the "potential scripting detected" message when titan hunting, and now the issues that some people are experiencing. So basically, what you said.
I have an AMD R7. I'd try a different browser... but the game server's down. Plus, the issue might not be on their end, but seems to me it's still their responsibility to create a workaround. It's a rather large playability issue.
Yeah. But it's on AMD at this point. No issue before the latest revision, but as soon as I installed it I had this issue. And honestly, you'll probably get used to it eventually. I barely notice it anymore.
I did send in a ticket with AMD. Doubtful that I'll hear anything from them though.
