I arrived at the very end and got 1st.  No way this should have happened.

He entered fight at 200k ish hp left.  Did you taunt?  I think PL's ranking is based on threat.

Screw threat.  It really ought to be based on damage done, healing done, damage taken, blocked, and dodged.  Once a fair formula is worked out, it should be applied to the WB as well.

Only WB in the game is plasma lord,the others are just raid bosses. 

Yes,it is actually based off threat,which is why templar can show up and just taunt the entire time,and healers can just bene +cc spam for over heal threat for high positions also.

I did taunt, thank you.  Figured it was the least I could do to help at that point.

I know it does seem strange, but this is working as intended.

Brought down plasma from 3/4th to 0 solo .... still got 3rd rank lol.. as intended i suppose.

I did a couple today first one was there the whole time, kept my bleeds up and didn't drop dps for anything, got 9th. As a sin with highest single target dps that seemed a bit off but ok.

then second one was solo for a while then lower levels came and entered and died a bunch, i stayed alive the whole time, again keeping bleeds up the whole time. 5th. Out of 6 people...

I don't know what the formula is, but don't know what else i can physically do to do better in the rankings.

The answer is simple. 

 

1. Don't bother taking down PL, let the noobs kill PL while you rack up player/creature kills for achievement.

2. Kill the tank before PL dies.

3. Try to get last taunt in before PL dies.

Nah I have better solution, hit once, go to the other side of map and stay afk. Get awarded by 1st-3rd place. (thats how i did once). But its working as intended

Maybe it was a thing for the new players to gain benefits from?

now im sure its smthing wrong with ranking system. Made test on last plasma and... got 1st place awarded. I did only 4 basic attacks on the start and went afk on the other side of map, again. So u rly sure if "its working as intended"?

How is it so that 4 hit's get first place consider contrubtion to kill = Rank 1 ?Based on your contribution to the Plasma Lord's demise, you will be awarded a rank and an appropriate sized bag of loot!

Based on 2 GM work as intented, If so that is case then there some thing wronge with patch not msg!

The other day i arrived he had 50% hp i healed a friend killed a few then stated to auto attack and use despair/bene/taunt/ignite

 

i got 1st place, tried that a second time and 1st again.

 

Mainly cuz i would taunt just when he was about to die.

Threath, Defintly major issue with this and over mean's of what patch note's state!

 

Better defined right now, Some walk up tap boss, Gain high threath count sit back watch other kill boss.

 

Bye doing nothing, Contrubite to dimis of boss = high rank - reward as such.

 

Simply puting it as, Still need kill boss it self, Basicly doing nothing give 100% high rank.
