basically there is an item called 'wing of the moon' which is used for the quest 'gate of the abyss'. 'wing of the moon' is dropped by a monster which is 100% found only in 'paladir forest east secret way'. I've been looking for literally more than an hour, and still haven't found 1 of the monster. is it just me or what?

when those quests came out, I created some notes on them, which I saved. Someone had posted this and I included it in my notes. I didn't make note of the player who wrote it though.


WING OF MOON - HOW TO GET IT!
paladir forest east. go there and enter the secret way. it should be right where your at now.
once you enter the secret way, go the short path to the hidden grove. kill critters using resource finder once you get the recipe for the potion. make the potion then use it. the potion will allow you to see the hidden critters, " elemental of paladin". kill those using quest finder to recieve " wing of the moon".

WAY TO BE BK !!!!! =) I remember going bonkers as well doing one of these quests  ...not thinking to use resource finder ..until a very very energy efficient light bulb went off in my head

I have now wasted 1000 stamina trying to find this "invisible" crap. I have quest finder 175, find item 175, and resource finder 175, up. This is ridiculous. This is beyond frustrating. This is not the first quest I have had these kind of issues with.

Hi there.

What issue are you having precisely? You have made the potion to see the Elementals, yes? The one the Fairy tells you about in the quest?

Or are you not getting the Wing drop? If not, check your auto drop AND auto frag setting and make sure they are not set to the items rarity.

I am guessing not every one knows how to use the UFSG. I guess they didn't read the quest. They don't know the creature is invisible, or that they must make and take a Potion. In order to see it.

Since the great Wiki debacle. It no longer states in the creatures bio. That the skill Reveal is needed to see it. Or the correct step by step of the quest.

BG has said this dozens of times.  We are told in the quest that we need a potion to see the Elemental, this I took directly from my quest book:

 

"The Wood Nymph waves you over.

The Nymph giggles, 'I'm sorry, but I'm not supposed to let you in here. The Elves have bound me to an unending servitude to show the other Paladir Fae not to oppose them. As part of the Spell cast on me, only those with the Grove Rune can see me and only the Elves are supposed to have the Grove Rune. I have been treated as a common doorstop for centuries now.' The Nymph folds her arms and glares at you. 'Do you know how that feels, to be taken for granted and ignored?' 

She then tilts her head and says, 'Can I ask you, why you are here?' You hesitate for a moment not sure that you should trust the Spirit. But you don't really have a choice, you tell her that you need to make an item from something called the Elemental of Paladir. 

The Nymph laughs, 'I can help you there! Take this Paladir Elixir Recipe. It will show you the Elementals you seek. Just promise me that you will do as much damage as you can. That will punish them for this torment and humiliation I am forced to endure.' 

You receive 1 x Paladir Elixir Recipe "
