Low level quest re the bang robbery case. May it is me who is too dense but the quest description says "look for safe code clues in the diary" - I could not find any single clue. I just brute forced that safe. Was there a more elegant solution?

if you look at the safe it has 2 different ways to go, left and right. when you read the diary the first page say ---- direction the same on second page and then third page. the you use that to put the right code into the safe to open it

The 3 different pages of the diary mentions the words 'right' and 'left'.
