Stand alone version won't work anymore

We're facing a problem.... The stand-alone version of the game won't connect with the game anymore (wrong mail / password) on a Mac, but te browser version is working "fine" (the controls suck but it works).
Interesting part if I log into this account with my Windows Computer there are no issues at all when I'm using the stand alone version of the game.
We already made a ticket but support isn't the best it seems.
Anyone got an idea about a solution to use the stand alone version on a Mac again?
Latest Mac OS (and untill yesterday it worked perfectly). No firewall or anything which could block the stand alone version (as I said it worked perfectly till yesterday and nothing changed except this : we used offers to get free EP from te offers wall).
Tried solutions:
Uninstalled - reinstalled = doesn't work
Uninstalled / deleted left over files - reinstalled = doesn't work
Tried with : Stand alone version and steam version (doesn't makes a difference it's not working).

The stand alone version of the game won't connect to any account (we tried to connect to my account from the Mac and it won't work either).
So it's not an issue with the account itself (cause I can log into that account from my windows computer but the Mac can't log into any account).
IP-Ban ? can't see a reason why it should be banned, additional the browser version works on the Mac so I don't think the IP might be banned.

Email / password wrong (but yes, she uses the right login data, no caps log or anything).
If she tries it again it says:
Error code HC-L-0
If she tries it further it says :
Too many attempts from this IP
So far no response from te support so we'd be happy if someone else could help...

I wish I could help but I don't know anything about Macs ( having only a windows pc).
I don't know what's up with HC lately about replying to tickets.
In the past when I have sent the occasional ticket I have always gotten decent timely replies.
A friend in game is stuck on OC server due to some link account thingie since last week and sent ticket in ( hope he sent more then one at this point but to many in some games can make the wait even longer) and still he's stuck where he can't go to EU or U.S server if he wanted too.
This and your issue is the type of thing they should be responding to in a timely manner so as not to prevent the person from enjoying and playing the game and subsequently getting fed up and quitting so I hope HC responds to these tickets soon and you all receive some help.
Slow but steady wins the race or something like that.
I'm just taking it slow, not sure about the steady.

But on browser she can easily login to her own account... Also I am able to login to her account from stand alone version and browser....
Your friend is stuck on OC server? I wouldn't mind that cause I'm playing on OC most of the time but well did he tried to login in a different way (steam, stand alone, browser version) and change server? I noticed for myself that if I login from stand alone version it automatically sends me to EU server but if I login from browser it logs me into the server I've been before (mostly OC).
Other option If your friend trusts you enough you could try to login with his information and try a server change...
Bout support : think they're having several games and not that many employees for the support which would explain the long waiting times for a response .... I mean there's not even a "we are having a look into it, please be patient"....

idk if he tried other client/browsers. nope I wouldn't even ask to do that but we are guildmates and friends in game ( not local/rl friend) but maybe if he knows someone locally that plays or someone he knows for really long time he can try that.
hopefully they just reply to his ticket.
it's an issue with linking email to acct or some such thing.
some players had problems of various kinds about logging in to their acct or whatever when they linked with steam for various reasons, didn't do it correctly or something but whatever it is hopefully it's resolved.
I use the HC client only however I did link my account to a steam account so I could purchase the steam packs that were being offered since you could only purchase them through steam. I think at first I ran into a small issue with logging on after that but it was resolved promptly at that time.

He should try to change the server with an other client (just to make it easier for the support and maybe it works who knows?).
Hope they'll answer on his ticket and are able to fix his issue. Cause it's really annoying if you absolutely get no response at all (btw still no response on our ticket).
We "fixed" our issue temporarily .... thanks to Virtual Machines she's now running Windows and ... It works XD she's able to log into her account from the Virtual Windows but still can't login with her normal Mac OS.
I really got no clue what's the issue with this stuff cause it absolutely makes no sense to me but well.... Problem TEMPORARILY fixed but still hope to get a real solution.

okies here from start:
She played Eldevin (steam verision!!!) from start, as we decided to get some free EP from the offers wall she coulnd´t log in anymore except with the browser version (interesting part steam / stand alone client didn´´t made a difference BUT with a virtual machine to emulate Windows she was able too log in via stand alone client also i have been able to login to her account with my Computer thats why i thought it might be a Mac issue but well it wasn´t). She noticed her achievements aren´t shown in steam anymore, she created a new steam account and linked her eldevin account with the new steam account and ... it works (don´t ask me why she was always using steam and after she used the offers wall it just didn´t worked anymore and if This happens to other ppl who found eldevin via steam i´m not surprised if those ppl quit the game after a few minutes cause they couldn´t Login anymore.... that´s something which should be tested and most probably known by the Support which didn´t helped and most probably got no clue if this is a common issue or not otherwise the Support could have helped i guess...).

Interesting. I always play through browser. The times I have tried with the client, if I wanted to check the forum with browser it would log me out of client.
I haven't got steam acc, but if steam have a forum for this game, it may be worth posting on there to give people a heads up so they hopefully don't have the same problem.

I don't use steam but I know there is an eldevin forum on steam but I absolutely got no clue how to reach that or even post in there.
But interesting would be if that's a "common issue" cause in such a case it should get fixed.

I know that problem... Solution = when you're In The game got to shop - currencies - free EP (it opens the browser and you're automatically logged into your hunted cow account and you won't get logged out on client).

I quite often check the forum in the hope there may be some activity, and I used to use top list to find players through their alts and find out how friends are progressing, but with that not being updated for so long its pretty useless to find anyone who started playing this year.
But interesting would be if that's a "common issue" cause in such a case it should get fixed.
