Hey guys, Mod's i hope you read this  :D  :D  :P  :P  ;)  ;)

I just think that Eldevin needs more advertisement!! Thats the main way to attract new players! yakno? I just think that there should be A LOT more players online and registered then there is, and i personally feel that its due to the lack of advertising...

Personally, i only found Eldevin through an extensive search through google of Games like Runescape and games with crafting abilities etc.. and one day i stumbled upon Eldevin..

I know that Advertisement cost money.. but i also know that there is alot of websites, places that you can advertise for free... im not saying spend 30,000 on a TV commercial ( although that would be bad@$$)

Just a thought, i don't see any Eldevin advertisement's anywhere yakno??

-Buck

Well they do have steam advertisement. Not super visible but still on the list.

Game could need some attention though. Lots of potential but not so much players.

I agree but honestly now isn't the right time imo. If you are to advertise a game, it's best to have all or most of the desired features in-game which Eldevin doesn't have or could use more improvements on.

A good example would be how some people disliked the game because of the fixed camera angle back in beta. The hardware renderer has made such a difference and it's really too bad they didn't have before beta or during, but they explained why.

So it's unfortunate Eldevin develops slowly, but I rather the cows develop/improve the game first on their pace as a team instead of advertising now and have players complain that they are bored with the game, lack of features, game develops slow, etc. Whatever else they find to complain lol.

And a few people are already complaining as it is. (minus those people who have completed most content already, and have nothing else to do - the cows I hope plan to add more stuff)

At least I knew what I signed up for two years ago...

I assume though that they will advertise when they're ready or want to. I really don't know how long it takes to code, develop stuff, but apparently with a small team, it will take much longer to do compared to a bigger team.

well said homie... one question... when you said " at least i knew what i signed up for two years ago"... are u saying when u signed up you knew it was going to be a long time for the development of the game to complete? or?

Yep! With the term "indie", and having read that the team was small, I was worried about the length of time between updates.

But they're quite consistent about it though. Seems to be an update every 2 months or so... sometimes in a month if we're lucky, :D
