I agree. I haven't worked Mon-Fri in 16 years, so I get it.  Also,  Christmas falls on a weekend this year for the first time in years, as was pointed out. We'd hate to have a big event running and no cows around to fix problems. And  the cows deserve to spend the holiday with their family.  It makes sense to run the event the way they have it planned, even if not the most convenient for all players.

I have to agree. And it seems no matter when any event is scheduled there are players with conflicting R/L issues. I think it is great that HCS tries to make these events available to all. Good job Cows! Keep it up.

No matter what date or time this was released it was always going to suit some people and frustrate others. Ultimately I think it has been released across weekdays because that weekend it is Christmas eve followed by Christmas day. They should not be obliged to work or even check in on those days. But an XP event and the issues that activity brings needs to be watched over.

 

If Christmas fell on a different day I have no doubt it would have been Thursday through until Sunday. The cows are people to with friends and families and shouldn't have to miss out on that time because we can't get online to earn our XP.

 

On a more positive note the June XP event ran seemingly very smoothly with little if any lag. The maintenance just recently prior to the event just like last time gives me hope that this one will be as smooth. I hope so anyway.

We already have an Rainmaker set at level 2430 .... now on this upcomming exp event on Xmas I just wanna see if we will have an Icemaker set at level 3200 from an Elite xD
