Fun world events would be sweet. It'd also be nice if there was maybe some kind of a skilling event.

Well I'll probably find more suggestions/improvements for this game and thought I'll keep under one thread - so welcome to my newly modified thread.
Item Link - Founders:
Founder items should have it's own colour as they are discontinued items. And so people know the colour represents 'discontinued'.
Farming: I do alot of Farming and these suggestions would be of great use.
Suggestion #1:
I usually am on World Chat - and sometimes not paying attention and forget if I did compost/crop dust or if I did compost and not crop dust etc. (This only shows on Local).
There should be some kind of a visual when raking in compost/crop dust. When you rake in compost, have the soil darken a bit. For crop dust - maybe a little glisten in the soil - enough that it's noticeable.
Although there is a difference in animations for raking in compost and crop dust - it's easier to see "changes" in the soil and would make Farming a bit more realistic too.
Suggestion #2:
If possible, can you (HCS) make it so as an option - allow Farmer NPC's to buy all bottles back from you (same price as vendoring it) as I'm tired of vendoring them to NPC's in another shop. This would help make Farming even less of a hassle. Please?
Or maybe make it so you can sell all bottles option in general too and will understand if this turns into a supporter benefit.
As bottles and using it on buckets... it's quite a pain to have to spend time to ctrl click and sell or destroy them.
Suggestion #3:
While this has been suggested before, we should be able to cancel a process. Like say if a plot is diseased, and you just, a few seconds ago, begin watering another plot.
Should be able to cancel the process of watering and move to pruning the plot.
Not sure if this is possible but sometimes annoying when you have the habit of watering right before another plot diseases on you. Disease is evil....
Minimap Icons:
When you click on the icons to the left of the minimap, the icon on the minimap has a blinking indicator. It should be made more noticeable as it's hard to see. Maybe making it glow might be better?
Holiday Quests:
This has been mentioned before.. that if you don't complete a holiday quest, it will remain in your quest log for the entire year until it returns.
Could it be removed after event ends? As there isn't no way to complete it.
Satchels:
Why can't you put Satchels into other backpacks and not just inventory?
Community Events + Community Points?:
It would be nice to have random events occur at random times. It could be a community thing to do things like a raid attacking Othalo (fun PVE) and such.
Could be rewarded something small for participating... maybe Community Points? And you can use it to save up for a vanity outfit and a pet? Maybe face items?
Or a vanity weapon? We don't have that in-game yet. Whack other players with it?

I think Founder Items should be it's own colour - as they are discontinued items. And so people know that these are categorized as "discontinued" - something that won't ever come back.
Some items share the same colour (white) with Founder's and it doesn't really make much sense if assuming that the items are in categories by rarity or item groups? Not really sure how it's grouped, but by rarity - it does need it's own colour.
One example is manure - being white. To be same colour as founder's is well amusing.

Not that Eldevin is bad. In fact ever since you implemented that new display driver it actually feels like a third person MMO now rather than an isometric game with a VERY BAD view angle.
However, at the end of it all there are a LOT of issues that are keeping Eldevin from taking off like a rocket.
Some of these major points include, but are not limited to, the following:
~~~~~~~[Critical Quality of Life Improvements]~~~~~~~
-GIVE PLAYERS A SEPARATE PATH OF PROGRESSION. QUESTING IS NOT THE "End All Be All". Quite frankly, questing is MORE boring than simply grinding on mobs. I HATE questing, as do all of my friends, and we'd PREFER to be able to grind on mobs. However, grinding is several times slower than questing....simply unacceptable.
-Quest Status Indicators ~ There needs to be an on-screen current task window that tracks quests and the steps needed. Having to constantly open the quest book is annoying.
-/follow is buggy as hell and seems fickle when it wants to properly "Stick" to your target
-/follow doesn't work with mounts....again...why? This is critical for couples as some of us have children that we take turns dealing with while the other "Drives" us to our destination. (Critical!)
-There is no /assist command making it hard in large fights to concentrate on dangerous mobs.
~~~~~~~[General Gameplay Depth Suggestions]~~~~~~~
-Overhaul crafting so there aren't massive gaps between weapon types and armor. When i was trying to craft a sword I noticed the first one is around 5, but the next is like around 14 or 16?! What O_o. Also, crafted < Quested....why ?
~~~~~~~[Class Suggestions]~~~~~~~
-Classes are overly generic, and could use some extra "fluff" skills like + to damage, + to attack speed, etc even if not a large boon. Having more to cast/maintain actually adds depth.
-A pet class would be very much appreciated (necromancer with a choice between 3 permanent weaker skeletons (which you can mix and match tank/caster/archer pets around with), or 1 large strong permanent pet of previous type described.
Thanks for reading!
-Kahleem
If I remember right, I saw players maxing to level 40 (the cap at the time) within less then a month of launch. If you're a low level, questing is the way to go (for money too) until you reach higher levels.
And despite level 45 as max, it doesn't mean end game... there are tons of other things to do like obtaining fabled weapons from relics earned through doing the level 45 dungeon, and finding the perfect gems, and achievements and professions.
You also have to remember there are different quest marker colours and if you don't wish to do the side quests... then don't do those. The main storylines - "Eldevin Army" and "Arcane Sanctum" is best.
There is a questbook rework coming. You can track quests by clicking on the purple icon in your questbook.
For the /assist command, I'm not sure but if you press the "E" shortcut key.. or if in your shortcut options... it should select the next target for you to attack without clicking on them.
I still use the old camera renderer, because my laptop still can't handle the new renderer... and it's really not that terrible. It is a pain for finding resources when you can't see in front of you, but it doesn't bother me when you know where things are and stuff.
Why would you want to follow mounts? Don't really understand. And yeah /follow isn't perfect.
For crafted items, I think they are going to look on improving it. Only the dungeon and heroic sets are really worth it, and for weapons... I mostly just use the ones from dungeons except for at level 30 - crafted is useful.
Rest seem just for training purposes but again... the exp rates really needs another look at too.
For bonuses for generic classes thing, I believe that's what gems and random roll stats are for. There are different tiers of gems, with perfect being hard to obtain... and you get gems like accuracy, crit, spell/melee/ or range attack power, healing power, defence, steal health on hit and so on. The random roll stats are mostly for hybrid weapons I believe.
Everyone has their own veiws on Eldevin... and I think the game has potential. It's only been out for a year, but I expect to see even more things to come in the future.
For a indie MMORPG... this has come a long ways. Still improvements to be made yes.
As of right now, having four plots is not worth it, due to disease + space. I'm pretty sure planting with two plots is faster then four anyways.
However I think this suggestion might work but it probaly will need tweaking ofc.
What if you could plant 2 seeds in one plot instead? This just combines four plots into two.
also check out Zook's suggestion of different sized plots below this post.
This would mean removing the ability to have four plots. At bottom of post is the issue regarding with the plot tier system.
Farming as of right now:
1 Cotton Seed with one compost, crop dust, scarecrow.
yield = 20
chance of 0 - 1 etheral cotton.
water: twice
Cons: Only two - three plots are possible + takes up plot space. Spend more time pruning between plots.
Pros: none?
Farming with Suggestion:
2 Cotton Seeds in one plot with two compost, crop dust (and I hope you can plant 2 compost/crop dust at once doing this), + 2 x scarecrow?
yield = 40.
chance of 0 - 2 etheral cotton.
water: four times.
But it will take 2x as long to grow... just basically two plots in one.
Pros: Instead of taking up four plots, you take up two. Spend less time pruning/harvesting.
Cons: 2x longer to grow... not ideal if you just need an amount under 40.
-------------------------
There are 3 issues though so I'm not sure how it can be solved...
- If you only want to plant one seed instead of two - for reasons like only need x amount of this crop for a Farming Daily.
- The third plot would have to be unusable after unlocking the "2x seeds" ability. So plot tier system might need to be reworked a bit?
With level 50 content, and with plot tier system being every 10 levels, there could be a fifth plot. However it makes current system looks confusing.
Current System with Suggestion:
Level 1 - 10: one plot.
Level 11 - 20: two plots
Level 21 - 30: three plots
Level 32: 2x seeds - max of 2 plots.
Level 50+: Three plots? (adds up to five plots).
Unsure how it would work. Starts to sound like a complicated math problem.
Reworked System with Suggestion:
Level 1 - 15: one plot.
Level 16 - 32: two plots.
Level 32: 2x seeds. max of 2 plots.
Level 50+: three plots.
Level ???: 2x seeds. max of 3 plots. - or 3x seeds. max of 2 plots?
With reworked system, it would mean having to sacrifice a second plot for another 5 or 6 levels. The bad news is that there would be no third plot till level 50.
Hard to believe it's been one year already.
In one year we got... Xmas, hween and easter event, level 45 content, new camera and engine... dungeons, story modes, mounts, preview vanity.. tons of bug fixes and talents balancing/changes.
It's been a good year, but I'm sure second year will be even better.
(Thanks to ernzor) It could also include "hidden" achievements with just the title of achievement to give a hint to find it and no description for it.Please Read: I just wanted to point out that this is for miscellaneous achievements. if you think you have an idea, please check that it doesn't fit in the other categories in-game.
It's meant for players to do things they may not do... to interact with things, to learn about things, to have a bit of humour in unlocking the achievement, to just perhaps plain silly things.
If you're not sure, post anyways. I included a few under "Unsure" as it may or may not belong in another category... but are achievements that HCS team should STILL consider!
A good example of a miscellaneous achievement is Achievement # 1.
