It would be nice not having to click after every gathered log/ore/etc.

Only 1 double-click untill the ressource-stack is completely gathered !!

(that way we don´t need a "target last" makro or something like that)

Hmm this actually wouldn't effect bots. It's kind of down to how it would effect players, let me show you.

First view:

It's an inevitable fact that there will be "mainstream" or personal bots. Some players will use them for either profits, laziness or in the near future possibly selling the gold for real money (Of course all these will be a ban-able offence).

Making the nodes a '1 click until node is empty' wouldn't effect the bots, it would make the professions more "afk" and easy.

This would only effect the game-play of regular players, the impact it would have on bots is minuscule.

Second view:

The nodes are kept how they are. Bots would't be affected.. maybe they would lose a few gains from 1-2 seconds of miss-clicks or extra commands (this would add up of course).

However for players the profession would take longer, and more focus. It would be more rewarding as you have to put more work into it.

This comes down to 2 things:

Do we want faster/easy afk professions.

or

Focus requiring professions, that take skill to reach the best exp/hour or money/hour possible.

You could argue that having harder professions would make some players want to "bot".. but those players who do that are the types of people who will eventually get banned.. lose out on the gaming experience and be rejected from many guilds and groups (upcoming stuff I guess).

Personally I think they're good how they are.. I would suggest that professions also need to be expanded (I am guessing they will in the future)..

Bot set Click at 1 - 10 intervolts , normal player will very alot more then , bot that would keep at 1 - 10 easy dected bey sys if set up proper find! In way it's give's them idea , of who is bot and auto mated moven't Auto pathing see path taken and inter volt's taken per action! But over all , Auto collection  function is help full less pain clicking - Killing mouse key!  In way is one step see who is bot!

This game is quite mainstream by design i think. It wants a cashshop and players to use it.

More gamers - more money.

So it needs to be user friendly. atm crafting looks quite shop-dependant since you need sacks.

Noone will buy these if resources are that hard to even collect. Especially since crafting here just means 1-2 usable items per tier for your class. And you have to waste a lot of time to get the needed gathering skills PLUS the needed profession-lvl.

If that game wants a playerbase it needs features. Noone plays monotonous stuff for more than some days.

thant´s why even with that many new mmo games each year, most people stick with the big ones.

many alternatives aren´t real options after testing the game some hours/days - you will always miss good features you are used to or that are nice to have.

the question really is WHAT this game wants to be?! as Neon already pointed out.
