Since all these rare items got pretty OP stats I suggest to buff Fabled Sets, also make it possible to get hybrid set bonuses from different sets.

 

Each item should provide 10Vitality & 10Crit(sin)/200-250MeleeAP(war)/100-200Armor(temp)/haste or magic attack(proph/mage)/200RangedAP  or 10crit(ranger)

 

 

So if I got set 2 sin daggers + war throwing will get 30vit + 200Melee AP+20crit

1 ranger dagger, shield and bow - 30 vit + Def +Crit/AttackPower. 

 

etc. based on set items..

More items.  Fabled 2 hand axe/2 hand sword/polearm, etc.  The achievement for weapon master is just ridiculous, since there is only 1 kind of level 45 weapon for each class (rare 2 hand sword from rumble -> heroic 2 hand sword from WB -> heroic crafted 2 hand sword -> fabled 2 hand sword).  

 

Also an aura-ish effect for each fabled item, like the sparkly effect from WB, but better.  Since fabled is supposedly the "best" tier weapons...

But give a separate complete set bonus to favor pures as well.  But not a stat set bonus, something else more interesting, say a buff to the ultimate spell in talent tree -> full mage fabled -> +4 sec to DB, or something.

Actually more time would only be good on dungeons i would like db to hit 250% dps and a wider aoe

 

to prophet when snowfall is on to add attack power to team members

 

to warrior frenzy to give + haste or so

 

to ranger to increase bow attacking speed( to match xbow)

 

to sin to make make shock treatment more powerfull

 

tank to give phallanx a reflect damage of 25% or no repairs during that timeor something like that

True. I and other players 'wasted' about month or so to get fabled set and in my opinion it should worth our time 40-1h everyday for 30+ days, also  only slippy(slipknot84) got fabled throwing item as non-supp, so somehow also we paid for it :lol: since doing Ascended w/o relics boost is pointless.

dont run for fabled, just go into bt or rg and drop op hybrid weapons.

Hmm i think what should be done is drastically reduce the rolls on the hybrid weopens and change to rolls in the rares which already have been obtained with ridicolous rolls . Fabled are decent, maybe a slight buff , but not very high changes to its stats .

Already suggest this in another post. Just not in depth as that is for the programmers to decide   :P

i've suggested being able to mix set pieces for a fraction of all bonus's multiple times.

 

like wear 2 light and 3 heavy armor pieces and get the same vit and energy bonus but half melee and half sorc.   so i'ld deffenetly agree with being able to do it with the weapon set's and the jewelry sets aswell :)  

 

MORE FREEDOM ALWAYS A +  :)

It's a summary/more concise version of the above suggestions mostly.

 

 

 

Tie set bonus to individual fabled piece.  1 mage item gives +150 spell power, 1 sin item gives +150 attack power, 1 templar item gives +60 defense, etc.  But you only gain the set bonus once you fill all 3 weapon slots with fabled items.  Keep the flat 25 vit bonus.

 

Then let there be an additional "pure" class set bonus, for using all 3 items of the same class.  (which is what the complete sets give now)

 

This will allow mix/match fabled gear, but also give people incentives to use a pure build.

 

So for example, BT essence + fabled sword and fabled shield = no set bonus.

Mage essence + sin dagger + templar shield = set bonus of 150 spell attack power, 150 melee attack power, 60 defense, 25 vit.

Mage essence + templar dagger + templar shield = set bonus of 150 spell attack power, 120 defense, 25 vit.

Full templar gear = 200 (+20) defense, 25 vit + complete templar set bonus of 250 attack power, +additional 25 vit

Full mage gear = 500 (+50) attack power, 25 vit + complete mage set bonus of 300 spell haste

 

 

Then you can add a whole lot of other weapon types (polearms, crossbow, maces, etc), and just change the complete set bonuses for using them.  The individual item bonus should be the same for all warrior piece, for all ranger pieces, etc.

 

For example

Full warrior set bonus for 2 hand sword = 25 vit, 500 attack power, 50 crit.

Full warrior set bonus for using polearm = 25 vit, 500 attack power, 300 haste.

Full warrior set bonus for using 2 hand axe = 25 vit, 500 attack power, 50 life steal/hit.

Warrior 2 hand sword + ranger bow = 25 vit, 300 melee attack, 15 range crit.

Warrior polearm + ranger bow = 25 vit, 300 melee attack, 15 range crit.

Warrior 2 hand axe + ranger bow = 25 vit, 300 melee attack, 15 range crit.

Full ranger set bonus with bow = 25 vit, 500 range attack, 50 range crit.

Full ranger set bonus with xbow = 25 vit, 300 haste, 50 range crit.

Curious...  when levels 45-50 come out and a bunch of new people discover this awesome game, who is going to stop leveling at 45 to spend 30-60 days to get a level 45 fabled set?

Curious...  when levels 45-50 come out and a bunch of new people discover this awesome game, who is going to stop leveling at 45 to spend 30-60 days to get a level 45 fabled set? 

i asked that same question lol,was told they would be needed to complete aspects of 50. But I know that fabled was required for ARg and sub 10 rg runs and we see how that went  :rolleyes:


1) these wont be needed for anything lvl 45+ as said "needed" they can be wanted but as far as im concerned it wont be worth spending 1-2 months to get this set when you can get hyb weps that still out do them.
2) within 1-2 months of grinding this dungeon..that alone will be enough exp to probably get to lvl 50...= outdated weps.
3)no variety or purpose for them semi stated above.
4) if you force people to require these for later content you then kill your game because you will make higher lvls go back and do lower dungeons against their own will at end lvl.

They're going to become drops in lv 45 instances, just like the lv 40 WB weapons now :lol:

I'm all for a method to upgrade fabled gear from 45 to 50.  Or at least to not lose all the relics invested.

 

Leaving the 45 fabled sets and dungeons once we have 50 cap may not work.  By the time a player collected all 300 relics at 45 they would probably be level 50 without doing any quests or skilling.

Maybe they do a option to upgrade lvl 45 fabled to lvl 50 for a lower cost. That would IMO be the best option.
