Her appearance brings to mind Merida from the Pixar movie 'Brave'. (The wild red hair and being a spirited child

I imagine you wouldn't want to use copyrighted/licensed images in your book.
Huge difference between using them for yourself (fanart/personal collection) and using them in a book that might be published.
Or am I misunderstanding the purpose of the avatar(s)?

Well at the moment it's just an avatar for the web site that holds infomation about the character, but I would prefer to avoid copywrite infrigment, though when the novel is ready to be published i will most likely cormission artwork that is seperate from the avatars, though based on the look of them, if that makes sense.

This is a 200x200 piece right? I also imagined the girl from Brave when you described the character up above. Been looking through renders and nothing comes close to matching and if they do, it's clearly anime or real people.

Aye 200x200 like the others, that way it'll be the same on the web site, and she can use it as an avatar should she ever come back to FS. However unlikely that is.

hmmm i have tried to find something i can work with to get the results you want, but not anime or real people does not leave me a lot of room :/

Text is meh IMO but I couldn't decide on a good font so just opted for the fantasy type to match the theme.
I really like these, the second one is better if you ask me though, the full name seems to crowd it a bit.
