As I'm sure everyone is aware, there is an abundance of ladder tokens in the game, with nothing really to spend them on. I have a half-baked idea that I think would make it more interesting, and use up tokens... but I'd like some feedback from the community!
1. Have a choice to create the gear as bound or unbound. A check-box on the inventing screen maybe? The unbound gear remains as is, and can be bought/sold, guild tagged etc.
2. The bound gear would have a few more options tailored in. As it stands, most of the gear you can make with ladder tokens is virtually worthless after a couple hundred levels. My suggestion would be to use the tokens to 'upgrade' gear.
For example, the agiads set, which is lvl 700. For the small price of 50 tokens, you could increase the level of the agiads set to 800 - whereby increasing its stats in whatever formula the cows use.
This could be a way to keep the ladder sets useful, and use up tokens in game, plus a way to increase interest in the ladder again.
IMO, this idea should ONLY work/be implemented if the gear is bound... It might be easier to just make all subsequent ladder gear bound, and only allow the upgrades on that gear, nothing that's already in the game?

Hi all, I’ve been looking for some new avi makers, and I thought it’s high time I hosted a contest!
Theme
I'm looking for any of the following:
*Sexy, strong women – guns/knives/swords – fighting, tattoos – anything along those lines
*Magical – like a sorceress, etc
NO animated avatars.
I tend to only like avatars that look real – no anime.
It must include my name (Zordor). Any other text is up to you.
Prizes
1st place: 50 FSP
2nd place: 40 FSP
3rd place: 30 FSP
I will be happy to buy any avatars that I didn’t place in the top 3!
Rules
1. You can submit as many entries as you’d like – the more you enter, and the more feedback you get from me, the greater chances you have of winning.
2. Please submit new artwork… I don’t want to see my name slapped on an avi that someone else has.
3. Feel free to send me a PM and ask if I’ll like the render – I’d rather have you ask me up front than spend time working with something I won’t like.
4. I reserve the right to not award anyone with the FSP if I am unhappy with the artwork produced. I’ll only pay for avatars I will actually use.
