Is there any chance of making another pvp season?  Make it like an event that is 3 days long or so and a week or two before it starts you have a poll on if you want to join or not in the right hand side of the page.  Answer yes and you are opted in, and no then you are not.  Like the double xp event you can have it happen twice a year.  Keep the same prizes but have a lower number of chests since it is not as long as the original PvP Season.

After it ends, just like you did before but slightly different depending on how many players join, the top 10 to 20 or so players go to the Titan League thing.  Whoever gets in first will get to choose between 3 chests (you choose the buffs)  I might be messing this up a little, my memory is not that good, so correct me if I am messing up any.

I do think though  that you should extend the duration of the next time a player can attack you again though.  Getting attacked like 10 times in one hour by the same player was really annoying.  Alot of people actually liked the PvP Seasons so it's not a bad idea to bring it back so please consider my request and thank you for reading.

A quick addition I forgot to mention, after the poll is finished and the results are calculated, there should be a waiting period so that those who do want to participate can save up stam so they have a fighting chance to win.  No one wants to start an event with 1k stam or less like the global we are currently doing, speaking about me lol.

I'm all in for another season ;) BUT I would like to stress that the biggest flaw with the last pvp season was that there wasn't any idle time between being able to hit the same player and unfortunately (not by our choice) everyone felt like a bully due to how often the same players kept popping up and you had no choice but to hit them because it starting getting too expensive to keep skipping them. If there was a way that they(HCS) could put a cool down time before you can hit the same player(like the PvP Ladder) I feel it would negate players feeling like they were being bullied AND it would add more strategy to it because it would eliminate players from coming in at the last 2 hours of the event and burning 75K stam to make a run to the top just like what happens in a Global Event with players wanting to be in the top 100. The PvP seasons should involve strategy and timing calculated hits to achieve being on the top not burning massive amounts of stam and swinging a sword wildly around to achieve being on top.

Just my 2 cents ;)

LOL I agree with you completely on that, that was what I was forgetting about/didn't know.  I remember on the PvP Season I was in 1st (not actually first place but is what it said) and then went to sleep.  The next morning at the very end of the season I went all the way down to the Gold tier and it pissed me off big time.  I'm not one that can explain my views in a professional way so I usually just type what's on my mind and let other's revise it or add on to what I put like my first post.

i felt there was strategy, you either fought your way up or defended to get wins. i lost a ton of times to stay in crystal but i was winning more than losing maybe except for 2 rounds of hours. i eventually gave up on skipping people was getting to expensive so i hit win or lose. towards the end of event was my favorite i didnt know if i was going to win or lose some fights some of these players were alot stronger than me and fully buffs with epic pots, composing as was i

It would be nice to see another run on this event.

I was thinking last week that a notification of some sort would be key.

There used to be an opt in/opt out in preferences. I'd want the defect to be opt out... just so people don't get caught off guard.

Seasons was supposed to replace the Ladder. People didn't like it in that function so the ladder was brought back. Seasons will be retrofitted to be a kind of PvP Global in the future.

Hopefully with both Halloween and Xmas over, the retrofit might back some progress.

I like the last event and with everybody having different time frames in the world the stats were about right so it forced you to strike back pretty much to maintain your status.

In my opinion we should do a long session so all have a shot and see how the bb and other parts of it fly. I would love to see this event and I enjoyed the seasons event since I was able to hit players way larger in levels than myself.  I think allure is better than the ladders where there is not many playing the ladders as mentioned in previous posts in the past.  The community voted to not have seasons as a permanent pvp a global event would be awesome and I agree some notice or at least a hint of such event would be cool.

Yes I would be in the event as soon as I see or know it is going. I played the last season event and I am looking forward to the next pvp global season event hcs and community.  :)

I don't think I would stand a chance in this but I would still opt in seeing as I was still "retired" when this apparemtly last happened.

Still planning to run the PvP Seasons as an event - no confirmed eta just yet tho!

Thank you for the update. I sure like to see the event roll out again.  I should state those with tons of stamina did not make mad dash to get to the top as easy as other stated. There were two back to back events the first time. I know I started with a tapped out character.  I managed to stay on top by hitting and defending and yes there is a strategy to the process.  Keep in mind season did not work like ladders and again not the same as a regular global event either.  I keep reading posts how those with tons of stamina went to the top from last minute hitting and this is not really the true case.

The first seasons had shield levels to obtain points to get towards where you wanted to go. I hope that stays. This forces those with a lot of stamina to work hard to maintain their status just as much as those of us with a smaller holding of stamina.  Next keep the next event if done like first the same. I was tapped to get to the top shield of first event and I did not have to much stamina for the next but I believe there was a short break before the next event started and I support this aspect. No warnings for the 2nd event only the first one for when the event is starting if seasons ge stays in this style structure as first presented.  This idea will keep the 2nd event part interesting.  Asking why I state this? If all players with behemoth stamina storage gets a notice to plan ahead like in other things they will dominate it and this is fact like other events such as global events.  The exception buy stamina on the way up.  I myself have stated I do not have a really large stamina bank and I like the mystery of the events to be not notified and this keeps large and small stamina banks

competing so it makes it fair for all in general.  I am not trying to offend those with large stamina banks. Battle on everybody and thanks for bringing this topic up @ JerryWFerguson :D

Thank you too @ Hoofmaster to keep us informed. I will suggest an idea of improvement thread for seasons by staff would help you if like to get a constructive view of the first seasons pros and cons by the fs community.  I would emphasize no flaming will be tolerated only pros and cons conversation. I would gladly help in stating what I liked about the first seasons since I played the first and received a medal. Thank you again for posting Hoofmaster.  :D

I felt the exact same way. I can think of about 3-4 people while at EOC that kept coming up whether I tried to hit for rating. unfortunately for me, 2 of them were buffed heavily and had a very good set-up so it would cost me a fair amount of gold to skip them or I just played defense on their return hits.

There should be a 30 minute cool down in between hits I feel. 1 hour is a bit long and since you want to be involved with pvp events / participate (aka opt in) then it shouldn't be an issue. No cooldown at first was a bit ridiculous. Especially with 50 stam pvp standardization ... it was a very good time to get your smasher ticks in.

Also the randomizer for picking targets could be looked at a bit I feel. Didn't feel too random to me. However if you kill someone and they are timed out of the hitting sequence for 30 minutes, lets say, that should help.

Pretty sure you kept getting me and i was pretty much in god mode lmao. Remember exchanging a few friendly messages because of it. It was pretty much an EoC blood bath lmao. Lower level's didn't have to try as hard and expend as many resources to achieve in it :P. The find opponent algorithm needs to be tweaked based on rating. It should also lower the priority of finding the same person each consecutive find within the hour and reset after it.

Is there any chance that this could become an event? It would be so much fun.

I barely participated in seasons, I think the first day I got hit a lot before I even knew what was going on.  I don't believe I was even given the opportunity to opt in.  I wasn't on the ladder, but I did take a few swings, came back down several levels. Seasons was already gone, as I had been gone several days dealing with rl.    My main objection was the autobounty...  I didn't like that concept to begin with....

Other than that I have no opinion about seasons.  I miss PvP like in the old days.   Never liked the ladder, the mandatory 100 stam hit for better rating puts me off... hmm wonder why prestige doesn't work like that?
