Love the idea's.  Opposed to incoming prep alert being more then 5-10 min warning.  Part of being elite in the venue is preparation and discipline.  So that warning would be more or less buff opportunity.  They can create a twitter effect like hit alert system right into app if it's not already there.  Any change to breath life into it is a good one.  You're list of ideas imo are solid and deserve serious consideration.  Best wishes

2% is so misunderstood.  I've had to explain to people repeatedly it doesn't exist when person making the complaint is in armor....albeit they are not benefiting from a HG kick on high attack build or NmV transfer...but that line of thought goes right out the window in my mind when considering what I'm sorting to begin with - if they don't understand point A, then the latter is likely above their head as well.  In this case I know RsR was in def as illustrated via SS, and what he is experiencing is bad luck in a build absent fail safe.


2% is only 2% in the very first round (each player having turn) of combat - and saves by buffs or misses caused by enhancements that push the combat beyond round 1 grow that % chance to make contact exponentially -so much that turtling is a effective strategy developed by players with solid understanding.  In a full term combat the chance of contact where it shouldn't be possible is actually 75%ish


Also, I don't know the cutoff % but there has to be a decent gap in defense to cover attack for it to be an honest 2% - Rjem tested this years ago and discovered that % chance to hit rises as gap in numbers close.....simplest way to put it is 800 attack has greater chance to hit 1k def then 200 attack yet both would be explained by 2% rule.  


Not doing anything but sharing thoughts here - final thought is Hybrids are where it's at :)

I suggested it in a FS helper forum, and Pointy asked for a example of what you would want it to look like - if you can provide him an example it will surely be faster then waiting for HCS to implement this.

Great guide on buffs to use, and where to use them.  I think the app when it comes out one day will provide a mobile notification system like that of twitter that can heighten GvG play all around, but that's forecasting a future with no set date.

I think the game needs range increases for certain, but the proposed increases via level are not great imo.  I think it is going to take more work then that to get it right.  EOC is probably one of the richest target ranges...so why bump it so much - The 2000's are a hurting bunch.  They need to do a routine populous probe, and increase ranges in the thinner ranges of active players.  A scaling up from bottom to top just isn't good enough or serving the community best they can.

Fantastic idea imo.  Would love to see this implemented.  I don't feel the after app comments are derailing, rather a reality we all need to keep in mind given the track record of progress since Spring of 2014.  That said; be patient bro, let people offer input, and potential adds to the idea, or answer any questions that may come up.  This is my first trip to forums in a bit, and I'm happy you put it out there...made my checking in worth it, that's how good it is.  I'll promote it to people I know in game, and suggest people supportive of the idea to follow suit.  This is a big one, and once the developers really dive in, and hopefully approve it will take time to lay the groundwork for implementation...and we seem to have plenty of that.

I'm not savvy with editing and in retrospect wish I made the amendments to the op more clear and pronounced. I made changes based on community feedback at the bottom. One of those amendments was to shorten the cycles from 5 months to 3 months still followed by a month long tournament.

Also wanted to take this opportunity to gloat for my guild. We achieved the rare feat of 2k rating and it's my honor to be amongst the games most coordinated team players hands down. I want to inform all doubters that a single loss would take months to recover and I implore you to make it happen. No worries if you lack the stones to aggress as we'll continue to exert our dominance upon the entire community we can. Thank you

The big question looming in everyone's minds now is why must we wait for the app to fix a part of game that had scheduled maintenance that never happened dating back to May of 2014. Do they really feel it's wise to introduce the game to large numbers of potential newcomers then go, ohhh, now we can put time and effort into a part of the game since that's done rather then demonstrate stability in having systems set that the new people can embark on. No, get them in and then start changing things. Just sounds crazy to me.

Don't know if it's been brought up or suggested recently but..... In the face of all the intentional level dropping, why not propose something the same utilizing this cried for constantly in past years.  Getting booted out of realm with loss of levels.  Anyone care, lol.  I just like to see throw a wrench in the wheel whenever possible for argument sake if nothing else.

I own the fact that through this topic I take away from my own idea by bickering with those opposed to it, but take away those bits and I think it's still the best most thought out proposal to reform GvG to date. Thanks to those supporters and those with subjective feedback that resulted in further thought, compromise, and evolution of the base idea.
