So much for theory that 17.5 million kills is an unrealistic or unachievable goal for a global event.  Funny how the cries change from "too hard, make it easier" to "so easy let's get more" depending on the particular event.  This a great reward so participation is through the roof.  Thanks cows.

this time is way easier, 


cause 1 kill counts for 5.


shadow bunnies count 5x times for each kill.
     so the actual target this time is  
17.5 million / 5  =   3.5 million kills.  

thats why we've reached ruby so fast...

You do realize that current GE creatures gives x5 kills instead of x1? We have now the same goal as when we only get x1 kills a kill.

I think the main point yotekiller's is making is (just like they not satisfied when top tier cannot be reached) when it actually become easy to reach the top tier, some players still not satisfied and feel they still deserved to be given more rewards. They never satisfied.

Wonder if 1 kill counting as 5 was intentional.. Because why would they make it like that AND keep the same ruby kill total

The stashes were pretty nice, giving not only common, but chances at all types except SE. My feeling is that there should have been an equal number of spawns versus eggs. Let the bunnies continue to count as 5 kill and egg as 1, but let the stashes drop from eggs and not bunnies. We should have had to choose, go for GE kill count or go for stashes. As it stands, there was no choice to make. I wonder how many eggs were actually hit in total number of GE kills?

I like the event, it is new, new charcters, a wee quest and new chests. To gain rewards and tiers is still the same though, kill GE mobs.

 

The Ladder system, general PvP, the Bounty Board and how it works, are all meant to be high on the agenda for reworking by HCS but as yet nothing has actually happened. Wouldn't it be sound if HCS introduced these long awaited changes via a GE event? It could be huge, it could also help thrash out any bugs, game breakers and preceived problems within the new suggested systems prior to them actually being implemented.

 

Personally, I feel that having to kill GE mobs to gain rewards is the "easy option" and would much prefer to see HCS take the bull by the horns and go for a totally new concept for a Global Event. Would doing so get the required participation? Who knows and you'll never know till you try.

Thanks for the events cows! I just hope my 120,000 kills will secure my top 100 spot.. Doubtful though.. lol. I really want that shiny top 100 medal and those 2 extra Easter baskets

Here here. An "earning" mechanism would be ducky - via guild wars or pvp battles. For all that's good and holy.....Please! !

While i agree with you, i sure was happy the bunnies drop a frag stash.  I really needed the frags

I used around 10k stamina just farming frags stashes from the bunny... These Chest are very nice but for me the frags were my drive.

In the future new events, can we have more required gear that are not Weapons?

Would be nice to have a full set of required gear from events. Like using the Basket from Easter, the Armor from Halloween and more things, would be very nice hehehe

Springtime Forest : Estimated release = Week of the 13th of April.

A new Global event added to this. Easter Baskets to be collected and evil Shadow Bunnies stealing them. Grab the eggs and duff up the Shadow Bunnies to save the chocolatey potion goodness at the end of the event. We may add one or two new LEs to the Forest event itself but we'll see. No promises.

This kinda thing is already something I'd like to see happen. I've long said I'd like multiple differing versions of Global in due time.

Not particularly. Just like the Halloween Global, we'd provide a locked realm where you could buy replacements as long as you'd progressed far enough in the required quest.

You still need to store your normal armour somewhere during the event. If it became 3, 4 or more items needed for the event (as per ygh's post), then backpack space would become a problem for some. I was probably playing for more than 4 years before I managed to acquire more storage than I needed simply to hunt the next few levels. (Not a problem for me now; not a problem for many players, but I doubt that every player can say the same.)

I don't think ygh meant that you would need multiple pieces to take part in an event. Just that, over the course of a year, there would be different seasonal items. At the end of the year, if you were so inclined, you could be wearing a santa hat, an easter basket, a valentines ring, etc.

Message has changed to the 3 baskets for qualifying but  4 baskets in my mailbox.
