I'm wanting to make PvP specific sets. Probably invented I think. 

Yes, because I'm absolutely certain that Inventing is the part of the game most enjoyed by those who regularly PvP before this update

I'm wanting to make PvP specific sets. Probably invented I think. You'd also get Prestige Potions. Someone earlier mentioned really long PvP specific buffs. How'd that do as another type of reward? Genuinely curious about what you guys think of that. It'd mean less wailing on each other and actually thinking about how you wanna gear up and buff.

This is all stuff I wanna talk with you all about in a new thread next week.

 

 

I like the idea of new inventiable sets, would they be bound ?  would all of the rewards, be they potions, or tokens, etc, be bound ?    if the prestige granted some leveling bonus or pvp buffs that you could activate or potions that might be nice as well, but they rewards should be considerable given the stam and resource cost needed to compete in the crystal and titan leagues especially.  Also, it would be good if the rewards didn't become stagnant, maybe changing them up every few months, kind of like prizes in the arena ?  Just throwing some ideas out there, and thanks for asking us for input.

after talking to more players (great community)

 

this season thing is a combination of the pvp ladder and gvg

 

in season you do not lose xp (gvg) and have a higher attack rang (higher than gvg), after 1 week you are in league bands (ladder) and can only hit those in your league (ladder), there is optin and optout (ladder)

 

 

bounty board is now a big gold sink

 

if someone hits you and steals your gold your only option of revenge is to throw more gold away to increase chances of him getting posted

 

 

question: if I optout and take some bounties, will my Total Bounty:stay the same at 0 or increase? does my Total Bounty: change if I lose on the BB?

You do not get bounties for taking bounties, no.

Actually, not really that way, I'll explain better in the next post.

Max, if you take bounties you will eventually take a little gold here and there, and then when it hits 20k total you will get an automatic bounty from the system.

a member never hit anyone in season but did bounties and has a Total Bounty: 2,500

Incorrect, your total  bounty doesn't increase via bounty kills. Which is why I face no repercussion for having my evil way with BG earlier

The BB:

- No one place bounties anymore.

- To be posted by the system you need to have 20K+ Gold on your 'Total Bounty', higher the number, higher the chances to get posted.

- You do not get gold added to your 'Bounty Total' by hitting on Bounties, and players can not add gold into your Bounty for Bounty hits either.

- A Bounty placed by the system worth the loss of 1.5~2,0 levels (higher the amount, higher the XP loss), players can add gold to your Total Bounty to increase that amount of XP Loss, the maximun XP Loss is 3 levels (each 0,1% cost 100,000).

- To make someone loss the maximun XP Possible you can add 1,020,000 gold on their Bounty (10x100,000 and 20K, not sure about this, but that is what I'm reading from people).

Really, I thought that I noticed the gold I was stealing, not the bounty awards though, adding to my bounty total, but I was also doing the season attacks at the same time, so I could have been seeing it wrong.

I've been hitting on bounties since the new system was implemented, my bounty total hasn't increased once, even before the opt out.

Yeah Dal, you probably got mixed up somewhere, I've been taking gold from bounty hits all along and not once has my total went above zero

I can say in season you can hit a team mate. I have been hit by mine and I have hit back only as a rated pvp attack. I tried in bounty board and I could not but I could see them there.  I am not sure if this answers the question but i can buff a team mate and you can see them on bb with guild message in guild log section.

 Team mate lost 25925 gold of which bigchaos stole 19444 gold.

 bigchaos lost 50200 gold of which team mate stole 37650 gold . 

 

Mind you my team mate is bigger than me. We was curious and just did it out of fun.  So everybody knows a little player can take a big player up to a certain point. I have in bounty board and in pvping.  It is combination of gear and buffs.  I am no expert on the new system and very rusty from the past but I wanted to show.  Yeah you can lose in bounty board xp hard if you lose. 

 

bigchaos lost 1368199 experience.
bigchaos lost 6007 gold of which player stole 4506 gold bounty board loss but player was plus 2600 so a risk in loss and winner looks like this. 

 

player lost 10325652 experience.
player level has decreased!
player lost 163 gold of which bigchaos stole 123 gold
