So it's been days now and I've used several thousands worth of stamina trying to find Syndorell(elite) I've read the quest log about a hundred times and maybe I'm just missing the obvious but shouldn't Syndorell be in the hideout? I've even checked all over the udan forest and leveled up but Syndorell is still not showing up. Can someone please help me I have no clue what else to do.

According to UFSG, yes it's there.
Use the Footprints option to make sure you're covering all the spaces.
Keep in mind that if there are others doing the quest, someone might find it before you and kill it.
Once you have covered the entire area without finding it, you have little other option than to reset the footprints and start again.
Move quickly and map out your strategy to hit all the spaces. I believe Elites at that level are instant respawn, but not 100% sure on that.
Make sure you are buffed with LightFoot.

Just a thought: is Syndorell one of the creatures you need reveal (paladir elixir) to see? I seem to recall it is needed for some aspects of the epic quest.

Apart from some of the Halloween mobs, I'm relatively certain that only the Elemental in the Epic Quest is in that list.
Could be a good addition to UFSG though, if it isn't already there. Something like a portion that says "Availability". Could be applicable to all event creatures, etc.

I just went to the Elven Hideout. I took 28 steps and found the Elite.
