Ok just out of curiosity why did they make it to where you don't get benifits of epic or buffs if there pulled off or expire before you log in the epics don't really bug me it's just the fact that sometimes you might be at work or forgot and don't have time and bam buff expires then you lose all of that stamina and have to start over just wonder if anyone has an explanation for this thanks

But is there a specific purpose or is that how it is? Would it be hard to change? Anyone else have issues when trying to use buffs for max Stam?

My guess is that the programming looks at your stats when you log in and compares them to the last known stats, then adds the gains based on what it sees.  I suspect it would be complicated to work it out for every hourly gain whilst you were gone and it would also probably cause massive lag as all players past and present would have to be checked every minute!

 

If you want to get your gains as if you were online for each of them, leave your browser open on the world map.

I didn't even know stamina was calculated that way until the previous XP event when I ran some buffs that increased my maximum stamina overnight thinking my stamina would gain hourly as the buffs were active over that time. Came online to find my stamina hadn't moved as I came online after the buffs expired.

 

It did irritate me in that moment admittedly but now I made the mistake I won't repeat it so it's all good.

 

Not sure the cows will change it if it has always been that way. I can't be sure.

 

If you want to get your gains as if you were online for each of them, leave your browser open on the world map.

That or simply run auto - reload. 2 easy solutions. Though epics being pulled off you can't be helped.

Not everything is suppose to be easy in this game. Surprising, right?  Do the basics, you get basic results. Put in some effort and the reward increases.

I don't see the issue with buffs. Buffs affect your stats for a fixed time---when they run out your stats revert. So any buff that increases max stam will only do it for a fixed time and isn't it obvious that they can't maintain more than your normal-max-stam once they run out?

 

Epics I see more of a question for, but I suspect Lahona has the right explanation with the lag comment.

I have been on my phone for two years since I got rid of my computer. I figured out how to do more than one quote.

 The easiest way to auto-refresh on the phone is to leave your browser open.  It hibernates unless it's in front.  Global chat or the map page will work for this.  As long as your browser is open, it doesn't matter which tab you're on.

Just wanted to point out that the OP has a real job with long hours.  He's just trying to clarify what is the best way.   He's not asking for anything to be handed to him.

Sorry I vaguely remember reading the OP post. I had to go back and look, yeah you're right. I didn't see it when I first read it the other day. Must have been in the middle of the night LOL. Anyway the way I saw it was I thought somebody was asking why they can't equip epics to get the bonus for the max stam. Then one stats that rises period on equip the epics but be able to keep the increase. My bad.

I apologize if you believe I've become a person you can call names, to try to make other people feel bad. I am just at a place now in my life. Where at my age and having to go through the things that I'm going through. Get pretty sick and tired of listening to people cry and moan and whine about trivial crap. If they can't handle it that's on them

Edit: Now I am curious. If you log off with 0 stamina and then an hour later someone tries to buy a buff from you on the marketplace, does it fail to cast? Or does it queue you for an update and then verifies that you would have sufficient stamina to cast the buff?

Desciption from The Buff Marketplace:
Use the search box below to find and request buffs you need from other players. You can search for up to 10 buffs at a time and results are ordered by sellers most recent online time. Requests not accepted within 10 minutes automatically expire.

That means if you log off, your Buff package would no longer be available to buy 10 minutes later...

Edit: Now that after thinking more... You can log off with 0 stamina just before your Hourly Stamina Tick... Would be curious to see, at least what kind of Error Msg pop up assume coding already prevent the sell..
