They are probably trying to figure out how alt abuse will play with the mothership activation. lol

Hey guys,

 

As mentioned last week we're hard at work on the next major update featuring the Mothership, we plan on releasing this later in June, we're hoping to release a smaller quality of life patch before this and we'll keep you update when we have more information. 

 

Another improvement which will be coming next patch is that 'Rallies can now target NPC enemies and enemy marches' this has been a requested feature for a while so we're testing this now :) and looking forward to releasing it for you all soon!

npc enemies,well i guess that explains itself,

enemy marches-does this mean we can attack marches from enemy players when they are marching from one place to another?

Honestly this is heart breaking, why would you want this type of playing. As it stands everyone already gets wiped out daily by lvl 22's and you cant fight back. Now you want people to lose units? Im level 21 and i cant do anything to a level 22. Except constantly get destroyed while they laugh.

 

Probably going to be the end for me sadly as i love this game and have no idea why you keep making updates like this. Whats the point? level 22 players are not going to rally against each other. Why not balance combat instead?

this only makes the lvl 22 players stronger,which increases the amount of people that will quit this game,because there is no hope(absolutely none) in winning

Heres some info of upcoming update onto forums

Please admins make it so that all the players that participate in a rally against a npc get a share of the rewards-this is just common sense,-is it possible to have this implemented with 1.66?

it's sad to see updates/features that were/are added,and they don't really get used for what they were meant to,or were not at a level that is much better(the above is an example,and also nuke silos)

Here is part of the typical responds, that has been posted in Steam by development staff, when New Earth is getting a bad review because of the imbalances in the game:

 

"We are aware of a few balancing issues in the game, and the development team are constantly working on improvements to make it fairer for all of our players."

 

It would be nice, if updates could reflect this.

 

Just to give a first hand example from Zeta1, how bad things are:

As average a large part of the alliance (one of the smaller alliances), gets raided every second day. Typical win/loss ratio is 1:1000 (victim loses 1k troops, while the attacker loses 1). The protection limit of the store house, is too low, in order to save up enough resources, for the next building upgrade/research. You can't sent out gathering ships, without risking to lose them for good, in case the attacker chooses to go for them too.Shield are too costly, for a longer lasting protection. What is left for the small players to do, is use contest ships, trying to limit the amount of holes in the hive; sent resources to that one player who is shielded. The rest of the time is spent with waiting for resources to build up in the main base (by oil rig, black market, and so on), while hoping there wont be another attack before those resources can be spent. All in all, that does not make up for an enjoyable game experience. 

Please follow through with the promise to do something about the imbalances in the game, by actually doing it, not just saying it.

And do it soon,not in 2months+,by that time you will have lost more players then you have gained

Not sure who that player or players are in Zeta 1 but that would get boring after a while just going around attacking the same people over and over. What is the point? In the end they will end up playing alone. Maybe they can attack themselves then.

It seems according to HCS, a way to cope with this, is merger:

"The balance of the game is of high importance to us, and we're looking at ways to ensure that the game is as fair as possible for all players.  I believe there will be a region merge as well in the near future, which should resolve some of the issues with balancing in certain regions"

 

Personally i can not see, how this would help to fix the imbalances in the game. The "big guns" will not attack each other, even after a merger. To me it seems more likely, that once low levels are driven away from Zeta1, a merger will give these 100+ million power players new low level players to kill.

The last thing Zeta needs is more players a merger would be bad already pretty sick of the game due to the alts and pay to win ways

Hey guys,

 

Last week removed all the alts from Zeta 1, this was an ongoing issue and is now fixed. We've just added the bunker recently to help players, and in this week's update 1.6.7 we'll be improving rallies further to help smaller alliances and players, allowing them to beat the toughest enemies in the game. 

 

The proposed merger would be much older realms (such as Alpha and Bravo), Zeta is still a relatively young region.

 

We'll be sharing a preview with details of the 1.7 update in the coming weeks, this update is also designed as end-game content and will bring a new 'event' in which more players will be able to gain access to higher tier troops.

 

We look forward to hearing your feedback on this week's patch!

how would this work? the map on both these servers are relatively full,and current alliances do not want to lose what they have

Maybe a different map that has a different layout than the other regions can be placed in the middle or even split into pieces of to be moved into sections of the map to allow for more room and different scenery for the merged region or they can remove inactive players to make more room.

One thing I believe they should do about inactive players that would be awesome is to make it so players that aren't in alliances or have not named themselves if they get their facility destroyed completely three times it should teleport their base right off the map and next time they load the game put an interface on the screen to have them spawn their base back mandatory of course.
