Some other players have been talking with me in-game about how interesting it would be to hold a meet and greet as a special in-real-life promotion for Eldevin. Players could meet their fellow party members in reality if they so choose. I have heard about it being done before and it would be cool to see how it would work out.
Suggestion for Real-Life Promotion

It would hardly be worth it with the current population, for such a thing there needs to be a decent pop that would turn up.
Besides HCS is located in Scotland (UK) which means the majority of the playerbase (US) would more than likely have to get on a plane and come over here for such an event.

We could have a Skype/Google talk session with webcams. I'm not sure how well that'll work out though since there's most likely a limit on the number of people we can have in the session.

Well, it would obviously be after the game gained more reputation and players. True the location differences would be difficult to work with, but the idea is nice, and maybe it would be a "tour" For example: A meet in the US and a separate event in Europe. The whole suggestion is based on the future when there would be a larger amount of players The idea is cool to work with though

+1 for the idea but I also agree that it would be too much of a hassle to get a lot of players to physically show up in 1 location. Maybe a session of video conference where everyone could tune in and ask questions. Like the online version of E3, that would be awesome
To all Eldevians, I raise my glass and tip my hat.
