I really didn't see the need for our logs to get spammed with the Chest opened info I am sure other also feel this way... Just seems a bit extreme to me....

As I said earlier in the thread....

It is at the moment. We welcome feedback on whether you feel you need that notification at all?

it could be on preference an option to able or disable these open chest notifications.

(If the player want s/he can keep it to track the amount of frags s/he got from te frag stashes or disable the notification if s/he prefer to do not get his/hers log box full with this notifications)

I've got more than 120 pages of auto open frag stash notifications lol

Hey BG... well, I had to do the event to see what people are talking about.

I didn't actually use the auto-open feature, but opening with my quick-click draw finger was a bit annoying as it appeared in my log regardless.

I guess I can see the logic about having a notification for the morons, like myself, that might leave it on when they don't want to.

How about a halfway point?

My suggestion would be that when there is an event of this nature, players are reminded about the preference via the notification and can turn it on. When the event ends, it could automatically be ticked off for all players, with another notification?

I think that would get rid of the need for the log messages. On the other hand, maybe the log messages themselves could also be a preference.

I admit I'm having a hard time thinking outside the box to know why you need to be notified in your log how many shards you got (that includes with the prizes).... maybe somebody wiser than I could explain. (o0

In any case, thanks for the GE, even though I really "hate" these frag farming ones because I am a selfish bastige and it really ruins my business for a time, lol. Regardless, looks like FS stepped up to the plate so, I'll contain my "grumbling" (wink, wink), say congrats to the community for making the top tier and an extra congrats to the top 100s.

Thanks again and prosperous smacking everybody! (o0

thanks for global event :) keep up frequent global events :) but try to do less fragments ones

as suggested before you can make global event reward single buff potion like Doubler 2000

maybe 1 pot for bronze 2 for silver 3 for gold 5 for crystal and 8 for Ruby

Those types of pots would be worthless for low stam new players... But your point is good. Reduce the over power ness

Right but it will encourage them to upgrade their max stam :)

Just as frag stashes are worthless to those who don't compose. ;)  Just sayin'... :P

Anyway, if they did Doublers, they could just have two different Doubler levels in there like they do for the bangers and mash plate. Then players could pick high or lower level Doubler.  B)

I think it's apples and oranges. Seriously awful analogy.

I do agree that options would be good. High doubler or high leveling buff or high pvp buff. You get to pick. You don't get all of one set.

It would be great to have had the option to turn that log message off .. I didn't do that many kills , had just hunted before the event, but still my log got swamped.

Maybe set up preferences to :-

1. Log every chest open

2. Log a total from every "X" chests opened (be that 10, 50, 100, whatever)

3. Log every time 100 common fragments have been received (or 50, or 150  or whatever)

4. Do not log the chest openings

Great event!  Great rewards! ( I seriously do not know what I'm going to do with that mess of shards though.....)  I'm in it for the medal anyway.

The way I see it, the reward(s) have to be good enough to appeal to those approaching EOC, and not over-powering for those who don't have massive amounts of stamina.

The dual potion chest seems like a good idea to me, but I don't really care about the rewards, as you use the potion and it's gone.  The medals are just a means of keeping track of what you've done, and are sorta nice.  I honestly don't know what a good reward would be, but certainly not an overpowered epic potion.  In my view the players in the game have gotten into a "gimme, gimme, gimme!" mode, which if this was Monopoly, they'd want to be playing it with real money :P

It was a good event.  I enjoyed it!  Which Is what I was hoping for anyway.

Was indeed a very fun event!

This was the first event that I didn't go all 'guns a blazing'

Just got 3800 kills and was done, figured top 100 was no match for my puny 7k stamina haha.

Either way, LOVING the updates on the homepage, there is just so much more activity there now.

Keep it up!

As for the spam of logs, hehe, that was a bit annoying, maybe give the option to turn off the message?

Even when you weren't auto opening them, you got a message whenever you opened one of the chests, so either way you did it, you got spammed.

The log thing - eh, no biggie.  I sort of like being able to see how many frags I got from the chests.  If they could show up in a different manner it would be nice, but such a minor thing in the scheme of things.

I say -- let's worry about something else and let HCS concentrate on things that are much more important to our game play.

*** GREAT EVENT! ***   The #'s of frags in the chests dropped and received in the end for participation all seemed reasonable.

I hope our next Global will not be a Frag one, but cool to get it the details sorted out now.

Turning off/on Auto-Open Frag Stashes -- since this is exclusive to the events, can't see a reason for it to be turned on/off for us.  I'm sure we can all handle it :)

Thank you for the event and I am glad I showed up in time to qualify.  I say keep up the good work HCS and I am looking forward to all mysterious global events. I like the surprises and hope they keep rolling out in fs. :)
