#1010227 Guild vs Guild Update

For over a year and some change nearly the whole community has awaited for the changes coming for "GVG".  With the release of a 'minor update' such as  level ranges and the hour wait for "preparing", I gotta admit, its a massive let down. The upcoming buff packages seems cool and all but isn't  really worth it for the amount of conflicts needed to be done, work doesn't equal the reward. Founders who do GVGs know that asking or paying your members for the work isn't worth it nor the time it takes for their commitment.  In the past only a few guilds have maintained the rank of being number one. I say everyone should get a chance for glory and add an incentive to it. Some have asked for a new epic, a medal or even an achievement. I can compel with a minor award such as a new rp item for maybe an exclusive epic. The items of RP have gone down massively even after the "double item epic upgrade" in which players barely use, just the collectors, they have now become worthless.

Take your time, listen to the community. Be better, do better.

First and foremost, thank you for focusing on GvG. It’s been long and awaited section many players like myself have been hoping for. 
 
Notification system: Doesnt seem to be a good idea. 
Attacking guilds have always done the method of waiting for the "perfect time to strike", with this new system it wouldnt work anymore.
For defending guilds, an hour is way more than enough time to pot up, switch gears and stay on throughout the beginning of the gvg. 
 
RP Packs: Doesn’t matter, just happy new packs will be hopefully added.
-a pack with cloak/deflect would be ideal
-a pack with enhancing items such as enchant helmet, rune, etc would be ideal. 
 
Level Ranges: Glad ranges are getting an increase. I know some ranges are “dead zones” so with an implement of ranges added, I hope to see more gvgs being done. 
 
Inactive time: 7 days seem fine, at most 3 days seem great aswell but like mentioned, leave it at 7 days if possible. 
 
Rewards/Accolades: GVGs have always been been a source for profit but recently it hasn’t. Atm some epics aren’t worth making or there’s too many ingame, so some rp items don’t have a value like they used to. Hope to see new epic worth grinding for. (Hope to see other current rp epics get an upgrade like the others)
For being number one place I hope to see a type of reward, maybe an achievement? Top rating get stamina gain or max stamina. Make a reward that would make guilds attempt to get the throne. Also I know some long timers wanting a gvg medal, maybe add a medal for gvg wins.

#1008242 Titan Competition (Near Future No ETA)

Hello Fellow FSers. As we've seen, for the month of August, there's a "titan competition" for the roadmap. Here's some ideas on how I believe this competition could be handled to maximize participation and ensure a level playing field:

 

The competition can be one of two styles, either of which would be more ideal than the traditional Global Events:

 

  1. All current titans killed would count, each kill equals points. For example: Kantec titan is roughly 4k kills to clear it so each kill is a point, so its a total of 4k points up for grab.

  1. The competition should be titan based HP which would measure any titan kill and kills with titan doubler should count correctly.

 

  • As a cherry on top, quest titans would count as well.

 

This method would encourage players to hunt from day 1 to the last day of the competition. This would also force players to clean (finish off) any remaining titans that are active. Overall, this competition would also benefit for the next upcoming roadmap update "New Epic Recipes."

Hello Fellow Sword Players, I see that many people are upset with rewards about achievements from the previous 5 to these NEW 10 .
Before suggestions changes to the old achievements my proposition to the NEW ones which are Reign of Fire, Open Season, Rock Bottom, Ain't Easy Being Green & Gone Fishing ( Current Reward 10 plus based stats)
 is this: 
A based tier reward towards the ultimate achievement. For example, everyone wants tier achievements so how about this:
100k kills= 1%, 200k kills =2%, 300k= 3% & so on. At the end the guild will have 10% % have unlocked the achievement. This way players can work on this passively and still feel the bonuses without the out of proportion cost to reward.
If the HCS staff can get an idea of this & implemented to all achievements, I would be certain more guilds would work towards attempting to getting all these achievements done.

This idea of Pots being named after players sounds a great idea. Theres already Sets/creatures after players and soon a Titan, so pots after a player with a skill of their choice seems amazing.

Lately Arena has been a on going issue, mainly big guilds who have many arena fanatics. Arena is a style in the game like any other which should be respected. Some players struggle with arena which is normal. Solution?

  • Novice for one was a 10/10 idea to give players a trial run in arena. A majority of players get their 50 wins from there which is fine. Also Novice arena is less crowded as it locks when you reach 50 wins or you max the moves you are able to get.
  • If arena were to break down to brackets such as above (Novice 50), such as 100 wins, 500 wins, 1000 wins and so forth. Yes this will let players get the medal easier but also it will open the the problem for big guilds to do arena and be able to do their DQ.
  • Expanding amount of players in arena. Most arenas are 8/16 capacity. In 8, only 2 players from the same guild can join. For 16 I believe its 3 or 4. So how about making arenas 24 or 36? Solution to this it can let more players from the same guild join. Problem, the time it will start.

This is my ideas and thoughts. Please let me know what you guys think. I just see this subject be brought up a lot.

For this year, I hope to expect a few things,

  • A gold upgrade function for guild upgrades such a guild store slots & other upgrades
  • Update the skill tree as it ends at 3k but we have many players at lvl 4k/5k
  • More guild achievements
  • More roadmaps to make players aware of upcoming events 

 

Also I hope a few bugs get fixed,

  1. Chests not spawning
  2. Delayed roadmap
