max your Doubler enchant.

cast it on a level 1 alt.

give them a blood rage scroll.

take level 1 alt out to MD

lower a Yvew Overlord to 1 HP.


400MIL + xp in 1 AP



fyi that level would be 1,097
the second kill would put them at 1,415

ok, I confess it never even occurred to me that people would use this as yet another powerleveling trick :? There should be a way to prevent that abuse, don't know what it is, but that has been an issue for awhile now no?

what I don't understand is why people keep saying they are saving ap with this (and I mean the ones acutally using and leveling off it, not having someone else lower a critter)... it takes 2x/3x the ap each time so how on earth are they saving ap? Saving real life time yes, but ap? I really feel like I'm missing the big fat snake right next to me some how :?

titans save the locate and traveling, the bigest savings, the rest gain on average 2 maybe 3 aps on the locate and teleport xindi, that help?

I didnt realise the enchant cost 2x/3x the normal ap used, I certainly didnt notice it when levelling :?

Can someone confirm this, Xindi's got me confused :(

i beleive she means the fact that casting the enchantment takes a total of 15 orbs, ergo 15 bars, 10 ore blah blah

the total cost per invoking the enchant works out to about 31.5 aps

no I mean it takes double the ap to kill something and in return you get double the xp, just like the text of the enchantment says.... it takes double the mp to cast a spell as well

go on try it out, kill something before an enchant, watch the ap, then kill it after the enchant - takes double or triple the ap etc at least that is how it was working this afternoon :roll:

Just enchanted again, and see what you mean, Inquisitors are 4 hit kills for me, but im paying 8 ap per kill now. Thanks Xindi for the heads up.

by the by, i'm not heavily in fav or nor heavily against this enchantement going one way or the other, in fact its a GREAT strain reducer on myself as i run quite a number more characters than i have appendages.

for what its worth, you really do get 2X, 4X etc the gp from the critters too, which can help buy more OOopsas.....to kill more critters....to get more xp....to get more gold....to buy more OOopsas....to kill more critters.................

i think the enchantment is ok as it is. even with the concern of the game moving too fast...
the game started moving too fast when frenzy came..
i think the only way to go is faster! :lol:

what i'd like to see though is, like promised, something sweet for the top ten (or 9 like pointed out) as incentive now more than ever to make moving too fast more valuable...

its as if you go to a square with only 1 critter, but the ap spent, xp gained, and gp dropped are like you killed 6 of em with one click. ap, xp, gp would be exactly the same if there were 6 critters onthe square, except you only click once.

works for miners levelling too, seems to be useful for everyone in hunting if you dont wanna locate/teleport constantly or dont have much time to play. me likes :D thanks cows 8)

I agree with morby and GmbH...something needs to be done and fast before this pretty much brings down the game :? max it at level 20, limit it to 2 enchants per 24 hours and make it 2x AP / XP, not 3x.

I think in this scenario the enchant would help you more than your alt. Because without the enchant he could still get the same 400MIL xp if you went out and lowered 6 Yvew Overlords down to 1HP for him to kill costing him just 6AP...but you would save yourself the AP of having to lower all those creatures for him.

AP difference for the alt....5AP
AP difference for you....a whole lot more ;)


And it's not like it has to be a low level alt either. Get together with a cultie or bondie, lower creatures for them, and let them take the final swipe while enchanted. Not only that, you're also getting 6x the cult/bonding xp. You can basically gain 6 USPs worth of xp/gold in 1 USP.
