I am Austin Richey AKA Arichey22 been playing Fallensword for 4 years now. I have probably just about seen it. Been Hacked, Been Suspended but over all have learned many lessons.
My Background is mostly of Managing an ACCOR company named Motel 6, Site Supervisor working with Texas Department of Transportation.
Currently am real close to finishing my Associates Degree in Hospitality Management. Also am one of the Top 60 canidates of 5000 volunteers that am working on the Formula 1 in Austin Tx. Which is located at Circuit of the America. So excited of this event and making it in the top 60 as a VIP personal.
In the future I look forward to seeing more changes game wise in this company and have enjoyed the changes that have been made in the last 2 years.
Thank you
Arichey22

Been gaming online since the mid 90's back when MUDs were the hot new thing.
I'm a fractal artist, a d&d junkie, one of the server admins on fsirc (www.fallenswordirc.com)
I'm a bit of a writer though haven't done much of that lately.
last but not least I'm a cancer survivor.

I mostly play Team Fortress 2, but like to slip into different games now and then. Really interested into becoming a Games Programmer, as I thoroughly enjoy playing games. Live about a 5 minute cycle away from the Hunted Cow Studios I went there for my Work Experience last year

I feel like such a child around here.... I love the community that follow HC
Nonsense, you don't need to feel like a child. You'll find most of the community are really kind and helpful (That includes the Staff!)
Also props on liking Rugby! (I'm Welsh and I'm still stoked that Wales managed to take the Grand Slam at the Six Nations )

If it is any consolation I'm actually one of the younger members in my guild, and I was a precocious youngster. I started gaming online when I was 11. Was coding on one of the games I played at 14, though I don't remember a lick of C now. If online community management experience in a volunteer status counted for anything I'd be able to claim 14 years of that on my resume.

I wonder if we traveled in some of the same circles on MUDs. Two of the ones I played are still around though one has pretty much devolved to a chatter. There's a couple others that I just haven't checked on in years but fondly remember. My preference was for LPmud style over the others out there.
I remember trying out gothador when it first came out and thinking it was just too similar to one of three games I was playing already at the time - it had some nice upgrades on the concept of the game I was deeply entrenched in and for about 6 months my Clan from that game (A non HCS game) actually had a sub-clan with a section of our forum devoted to it for those who were crossing over and trying it out. I liked the extrapolations but I just couldn't bring myself to add another game to my schedule and it came down to the fact that I had 5 years already with RBC and with around 100 people depending on me and the leader team in our clan I couldn't do it. The funny thing is that I eventually got brought into FS, after I'd finally parted ways with RBC, was retiring from two other games besides RBC and FS was just what I and my team from one of the other games were looking for.
