Well i got that magic female musk to calm the male owlbears  but it kind of does not work - tried using it when a bunch of em tried to eat me, used it on their corpses - no result. Quest says i am to spray them - but how does that spraying supposed  to happen is a total mystery.

 

BTW there is some ideological issue in the quest itself... The only way sprayed with female musk uncalmed  males are to become calmed is that they pay much more attention to each other. Gay propaganda?

Have your inventory open gather a bunch around right click spray to use. ( or at least thats how it is suppose to work, it was broken when i got to that quest but they hotfixed it and haven't tried it out yet as im at lvl now and dont like wasting xp)

Didnt work.... i even tried dancing

I found that if you actually attacked anything after receiving the musk then the musk stopped working - until you logged off and back on again, then it started working again until I attacked/killed something else.

 

There was quite a lot of discussion about this in the forum a while back.
