Actually Arn is a damn fine member of the gothador community and is a plus to any cult he is in . Now what your litttle problem is i dont have a clue he is a man of his word and leaves nasty lil cult bussiness to where it should be left in your cult . Wether you decide to clean it up before your whole cult sq is filled with it is your problem .

Well, don't get your panties in a bunch. I didn't mean anything by it. When I said he's a better fit for your cult I was meaning that Brutal Truth would be more his speed. Besides, you two are bonded so I can't blame him for coming over to join you. I don't have any negative feelings towards arnvidr at all. I never really even knew him to be truthful. He was in our cult simply because lasciel brought him in and I didn't have any objection to it. He's cool in my book, which is why I had no problem with him staying, but hardly a top player if you look at his stats objectively.

With lasciel on an indefinite hiatus, it is just me and blacqmath as active leaders of RA. You might see several decisions that are out of character for RA simply because I'm taking a proactive approach to keep us top dogs. We are the top cult in the game and will probably stay there for a long long long time. I'm keeping Vaprak in the cult no matter how many people joke about it. Decision is made, it is done. Without vaprak's and osiris' cult xp, guess what? We'd still be the top cult. He's just a good addition to the cult, whether arnvidr, lasciel, or any other member begs to differ.

While I'm on my soap box, I would like to address this whole "omg they let vaprak join" vibe that is going around. I make my judgments on who gets to join RA solely on how they play the game. I don't care if there is a rumor that they rape dogs, tuck their weiner between their legs and dance around as a nancy boy (as long as it isn't portrayed in their in game character and they never ever ever mention it to me outside the game). We pride ourselves as the true "elite cult" in gothador by being full of top players. Vaprak is a top player, and I wanted him to join us. Did me and lasciel used to pick on him awhile ago? Yes. But I pick on pretty much all poor bastards that aren't good enough to be one of us. He eventually proved his worth, and I gave him a spot in our revered halls. So, no I'm not sorry that I brought him in.

Now...I must deeply apologize for stealing your cult thread as that was never my original intention. I have always liked BT and have no problem with debrutsid or mortll. We all pick on each other in game, so I find it confusing when you (mortll) replied like you were offended. In true old school gothador fashion, I must say "toughen up"....in a friendly way. :wink:

This thread is a sterling example of why I can't leave this game alone. Mages have been dead forever, no worthwhile content comes out, fifth tier lies rotting in the sun, and HCS asks in thread after thread for suggestions, all of which are likely intended to help out Eldevin, deployment date 2050, copyright 2006.

Some something happens, who knows what, and Arn moves from Raggedy Ann to whatever minor cult it is that this thread belongs to. Aizen jumps in with a remarkably well-written post that makes one think that he reads something other than Japanese comics, and he explains the ethos of RA's hiring pratices in a way that should silence the masses. A nod or two from Mortll, and then a post about how difficult it is to level a miner, all the while informing the masses that said ill-done-by miner will go from 37K to 50K this week.

As I get older, I realize shaking my head in such a vigorous fashion might lead to early paralysis or spinal decay, but I can't stop. Please, HCS, do something to return this game to sense and respectability, so the schadenfreude crowd such as myself can move on to greener pastures.

man don't even start up about mages being so left out, miners aren't even thought of most of the time. the last time they had a good skill, it was tweaked waaaaay DOWN because it was unbalancing
of course now that same skill would be frigging awesome, seeing as all the exp modifiers raise what you can get by higher multiples. mages this mages that. a mage can kill a warrior who is so much larger in level that same said warrior could likely take a leak and if it hits kill the mage. they have massive damage, and because they need only put into two stats can crank their def up to unkillable levels.

2nd minor cult. yeah. ok we are one of the oldest active cults left. i think only jade phoenix is still operating, but that one is pretty much an alt retirement home. not that i have any disrespect for alts, i have a few myself. We just never cared to play the game the anyone else did we play at our own individual person's wants, some power level, some do nothing, etc.

anyway moving on. It looks as though we may be experiencing a minor upswing in returning players, and serious players (not as in level, but in involvement, be it level, communication or whatever) may apply.

We may not be the most active cult or the easiest to reach. I myself am on such erratic hours that you need to be across seas or be a total night person to talk to me usually, but still. This is a serious call to any player, new or old who wishes to join a thriving and active cult. and with that i just ran out of beer. %$&*@(@^ it!!!!
