What's up with this? I don't know if this means FS is broken, or I got banned for some unknown reason. I've been behaving, anybody else having this issue?

The game is currently down for server maintenance for the upcoming XP event.
Don't know if your logging in now or was playing when the maintenance began but there was a warning on the homepage about the maintenance.
Hope this helps. 
Having said this though I can't be sure that you haven't been banned, all I know is that the game is down by intention.

How long has it been since the warning? Must have missed it :-/
The warning was about 10 minutes or so before the maintenance. It certainly wasn't ample warning. But the heads up is always nice.
Edit - we're back and it was a 19 minutes warning.

I just woke up and was trying to log in, so I was unaware of this. Whatever happened to the page with the countdown to estimated downtime for this eventuality?

Ah well now your online you will no doubt see the warning that was given however brief.
What page is this? All I have ever seen is an estimated downtime in the news post.

In the past, when FS was closed for maintenance, there was a page saying the site was down for maintenance with an estimated time for when it would be back and a link to the forum. I couldn't even get www.fallensword.com to come up. I am only logged into my hunted cow account.

I never knew that. I don't think I have ever seen that page.
I am back in the game. I thought we all were. Perhaps you do have issues with the game itself as opposed to the scheduled maintenance. Don't know what to tell you.
