Hi all,

Just a quick update on the mobile interface to the game. Once it's ready, this new interface will work on most modern smartphones (Android, iOS, Windows Phone etc.) and won't require any downloads.

The interface is in the early stages of development, but here is a couple of screenshots of it so far.



The screenshots are from Chrome, but resized to simulate a mobile browser. In the second screenshot you can see how the menu will display (when you press the button with the # on it, it slides in from the left).

That's pretty neat and looks good. Would we have to use that version from our mobiles or could we still access FS normal version. As I get around extremely easy on the normal full size FS.

Could we get a Send link after Reply Buff Trade after someones message..this would cut down on pageloads

We're planning to get a basic version of it working, then we'll look at adding more features

In the initial version, we're hoping to make it possible to hunt, view your profile, view your log and buff other players

I can do all that quite easily apart from hunting, even moving a few maps to get into a relic can be a hassle. If I can do that easily then that'd be grand.. If I could hunt that's be crazily grand haha.
With this being made is the app fiasco being scrapped?

I don't know if it would be possible, but a basic Guild chat interface (akin, I'd say, to the right sidebar on the regular browser page) would also be a nice feature, even if it's a separate tab and not a sidebar. For us to know who to buff, many of us would need the chat feature. (Similarly, an updating list of Online Members of the Guild would also be appreciated, but again, I'm not sure it's possible.)

This is going to be cool! I can't wait to try it on my BlackBerry when it gets released!

I just want 'em to make it compatable with Grims phone... Doesn't favour me at all

We're hoping to have a beta version of the mobile interface live towards the end of January

normal map mode is blacked out and quick battle doesn't work but otherwise good job.... I'm on a tablet so idk if that makes a difference

nvm!! works only in standard browser was using opera mini which is much faster

Here are a couple more screenshots of how the world page is looking so far on the mobile interface. The first screenshot is how it will look at HVGA (320x480) which is the screen resolution of the iPhone 3GS and various Android phones.



The second screenshot shows how it will look at the screen resolution of the iPhone 4 / 4S (640x960)

Hopefully within 2 or 3 weeks

We're going to get a basic version working, then continue to improve it.
