Hey gang..when contesting territory, does the amount of troops or hero level affect the time it takes to contest?

The amount of troops does for certain, not sure about hero presence

Hero would only have a small impact. It's about the power you send, thus why t3 and especially t4 capture a good deal faster

the effect of the amount of troops gets less and less as the alliance gains more sectors,and becomes no effect around 20k sectors,so it is best to use contest ships,which will always bring the time down

in my tests it's about how much troops, not how much power,although you would have to start a brand new alliance to prove this

I am starting to see high lvl Coin Commanders use a single Battle Disc or special bought vehicle to contest a sector. So, if you scout it, they get the battle announcement- recall the deployment, replace it with a big force of regular high level vehicles such as 300,000 Jet Fighters or Titan Tanks. 
Meanwhile, the free player who does not have a Recall or superior force gets trapped fighting.

yep,simple battle tactic,watch your screen closely 

tip: use AC to buy recalls for 2000,very cheap
