What are the qualifications for being a rising star. Up +90 and still not on list.

Nobody knows. HCS refused to give out the qualifications a long time ago.

Resets are at 9:00 ST each day. Crip makes me wonder if it doesn't take effect until another 24 hours after that.

I think at least 48hrs and check the list. I am not sure if list of rising stars is backlogged like the medals.  This will be interesting to watch. 

 

Hey "HCS" can you drop by and give us an update response on exactly when rising stars updates would be appreciated please.  Please also make sure it is working correctly would be appreciated.  Thank you a bunch.

Plus 105, not on list. Is it my huge eyes they don't like? Or me eating all the cookies?

Check the day after the reset that shows your +105. (or whatever)

 

If +105 is enough to get you on, you'll be on.

It doesn't miss anyone out if they qualify, it is simply always showed the day 'after' the + rank is gained.

Doom... I'm sorry, but I'm stuck with the same confusion.

 

I get 105 on Thursday at 10:00 ST. Is it Friday at the 9:00 ST reset I should be there or Saturday at the 9:00 ST reset?

If you achieved your +level at that time on Thursday, then you would get your +105 rank showing up at 9:00 Friday.

This would mean that you would then show up on the rising stars at 9:00 Saturday.

(If +105 is applicable to achieve a rising star rank)

Thanks. Why someone wouldn't appear on the Friday is precisely what I don't get. 

 

But good to know... not sure how to take any possible "tone" out of this.

Hey, btw, I just wanted to say thanks for this thread.

I've been here 9 years+ and HCS refused to say "how it works".

Now I know (checked on my own double XP hunt) that you appear on the second 9:00ST reset, thanks to you gals/guys.

Never understood why this works like it does. Maybe some comparison of data base issue that does not allow it to refresh in time for 09:00 next day. So we see it at +2 days.. weird..

In early days, you had to be in the top 5K to make the list. Also, you had to be +xxx 2 days in a row. For example, if you are #4999 on Sunday, get +105 on Monday and +25 on Tuesday, you will show up as +25 on Wednesday at 09:00 ST. Not sure if it still holds true though, so maybe one should ask BG directly. He always answers his mail

Thanks penny, I think I never made list until under 10,000.

Yeah you have to be in the top 10,000 players to be counted and it used to be after 9pm the following day but recently I've noticed an extra 24 hours delay, No idea why
