in this description it says I killed it 5 times so far.

 

I have killed the dragon more then that. 

 

at first I noticed it said 4 even after I killed it at least 2-3 x more then that already.

 

and today it changed to 5 but that was after the second or third dragon today I killed.

 

How will we know when we hit 25 if it's registering incorrectly and does this indicate what it is registering or will it hit the correct 25 kills when we actually have done 25 kills regardless of what count we see on the quest?

 

 

I know of at least four other players who also had this on their quest.

Yes happened to me as well , quest says 3 kills, been part of more kills than that, had 6-7 frosty treasures.

It wont count for people whom doesn't die at all during combat. So... you need to sacrifice yourself if you want it counted for you

Yeah need to be close when the dragon dies or it doesn't count...

ugh guys really? that is soooooo well stupid.  if there are lots of players how does hc expect them all to do that ?  i'm just going to let myself hit and die next to it then and wait -.-.   but seriously that doesn't make a bit of sense, some of us happen to be range players so obviously we may n ot be that close and how close is close?

 

well now it says i have 7 done so from now on I will try to be close no matter what happens.  *runs along side of dragon near the end'

 

so much lag that truely hard to tell where I am at times. one moment i'm in the distance, next some how I am next to it. lol.

 

keep fingers crossed too, lost internet, thought my modem finally died or broke. ugh ..

 

hey if a game is really laggy can that make someone lose their internet.  just wondering because I noticed it happening more so during dragon time.

I have the same problem, i have killed it 19 out of 25 times according to they quest but i killed it twice today. So the quest should say 21/25 then right?

yup gotta be really close to the dragon to get the kills. didn't know that till someone told me.  unfortunatly if you say die just before it dies or your not rev'd and dragon moves away you won't get it either.    I wasn't sure why they designed it like that till someone told me it's to prevent afk'rs.  guess it helps.  players do afk after hitting it to just get the reward bags anyway.  

 

so everyone should just know to at least just move up to the dragon just before it dies and you will get the kill counted.
