We're experiencing some downtime at the moment in Fallen Sword, but our team are aware & are doing their best to get the game back up and running soon!

#1006208 Stamina changes.

Hi everyone!
 
The following changes relating to Groups & Stamina have gone live today:
 
  • Reduced the stamina cost to create a group from 20 to 10.
  • Reduced the stamina cost to join a group from 5 to 1.
  • Group combat now uses stamina during an attack the same as normal combat does.

Hi there everyone.
 
We have several fixes in place we wish to let you know about!
 
  • The Arena move "Block" now displays and activates correctly.
  • Quick Buff Group is now working correctly.
  • PvP Rating gained while the buff "Conserve" is active will now calculate the appropriate result.
  • The buff "Avert Gaze" is now functioning as intended.
  • The buff "Critical Hit" is now functioning as intended.
  • The buff "Distil" is now functioning as intended. It no longer pushes buffs beyond their cap.
  • Buff Logs no longer duplicates repeatedly.
  • Friend requests can now be Accepted/Declined. Note this only applies to NEW requests.
  • Personally secured Titans are now delivered Uncrafted.
  • Mailbox link at the end of Auction messages now takes you to the mailbox.

Thank you for the reports that allowed us to track and fix these issues.

#1006103 Frag Finder & Wiki Log In fixed.

Hi there everyone.
 
An issue with the buff “Frag Finder” was brought to our attention. We’ve investigated and discovered there was an error with it activating when the “Auto Open” function was used. We have now corrected this and Frag Finder is working as intended. 
 
Additionally, the Log In for the FS Wiki has also been fixed.

#1006067 Gargantuan Mosquitos XV & Bonfire Night!

Hi there everyone.
 
Global
 
The Gargantuan Mosquito were once normal little irritants. However, this has been a long, hot, damp summer and the humid temperatures have seen the Mosquito population explode. As if this were not bad enough, Mages across the Realms have reported rogue magic concentrations that have allowed the Mosquitos to grow to monstrous size.
 
Now these beasts are buzzing around and draining people and livestock of their blood. Any unlucky survivors find themselves struck with a magical fever which spreads to other living beings, weakening them, making them easy prey!
 
The Warriors of the Realms must gather together to rid the Communities of these horrifying vermin!
 

Gargantuan Mosquito (Level 25)

The latest Global Event in Fallen Sword is now underway! In the Event, the Community must work together to destroy the Gargantuan Mosquito plaguing the realms.
 
Each player must earn a personal target for increasingly powerful chests (mouse over the event info on the World page for more details) while also helping the Community to attain the best total kills possible, unlocking the rewards for all.
 
The Global Event shall be live until 15:00 on the 10th of November 2021.
 
For each tier that the community completes the reward will be as follows:
 
Bronze: 1 x Jigsaw Box
Silver: 1 x Rusted Iron Box
Gold: 2 x Decorated Lock Box
Crystal: 2 x Crystalline Box
Ruby: 3 x Cut Ruby Box
 
If you qualified, the reward(s) will be delivered to your mailbox shortly after the event ends. Note that you get the reward for the tier that you have qualified for, for example if the community unlocks Gold, but you qualify for Silver, you will receive 1 x Rusted Iron Box. You don't receive the rewards from lower tiers, only the tier you have qualified for.
 
If at the end of the event, you are placed within the top 100 contributors, you will receive 2 additional Cut Ruby Box in addition to any reward you are qualified for.

The Basement of the Cathedral has opened and the Fawkes Wickerman (Titan) has risen from last years ashes.
 
These shall be available until 15:00 server time on Thursday the 18th of November.

Be sure to accept your Bonfire Night Platter from the in-game news post! You have 2 weeks to claim it.
 
Oidhche Shamhna.
 
The Realm of Oidhche Shamhna is closed. Any players stuck there shall be teleported to the mountain Path. 
 
All the Halloween Titans have also despawned. Those despawned have not awarded TKP nor have the awarded Secures.

A second wave of Oidhche Shamhna horror have take up the attack on the innocent inhabitants of the Realms! They must be defeated!
 
Voodoo Ray (Legendary)

Voodoo Ray was once hung by his village for taking things too far and contacting demons and messing with evil powers. With his last dying breath he sent his soul to a Voodoo Doll within his shack. In this new (although small)wooden body he picked up his magical Voodoo Demon Blade and murdered the village, Killing empowering his voodoo magic The blade thirsts for more blood so he continues his killing spree over the lands...

The Howling Spectre (Legendary)

The Howling Spectre is a terrifying spirit that has a distinct otherworldly howl that can only be heard in its intended victims heads. It is said to know where its intended targets are at all times, screaming inside their heads and whispering threats and curses driving them mad with fear. The torment goes on until the Spectre finally tires of toying with its victim and drifts in for the kill...

Deathmask was made from stitched up bodies by the infamous Doctor Morbidstein, the corpse would serve in an experiment where a cursed deathmask Would be placed upon the body. A rune upon the Mask begun to glow and silently the corpse rose from death, apparently under the the control of some murdering spirit trapped within the cursed deathmask. Time would see Deathmask escaping the dungeons and roaming the world, silently stalking and killing those he had marked for death...

Maureen Megaflora (Legendary)

Maureen Megaflora is an unusual plant. After being found in mysterious circumstances, the (now ex) owner of Maureen was surprised to find the plant was both carnivorous and really rather talkative. Initially this resulting in the (ex) owner feeding Maureen mice, then rats, then whatever the heck he could get his hands on as the monster plant grew. Before long, this beast was eating everything before it. All while belting out show tunes, as Maureen has a pretty good singing voice.

The Dadafoo (Legendary)

The Dadafoo is a demon summoned through a childs story scroll. The scroll seems innocent but once read, the Dadafoo will start to manifest, causing problems, trying to confuse and terrify it's victims before building it's strength to unleash a full on attack, possessing its victim, using them to commit ever more horrific attacks!

Shadowed Demiurge (Legendary)

The Shadowed Demiurge is a nightmarish creature of unknown origins. A small gathering of young adventurers first reported the beast, saying it first clawed its way into this plane of existence through the walls of their Guild Hall before rampaging through their fellows and abruptly disappearing again. Where will this strange entity appear next?

The Sister (Legendary)

The Shroud Faun is a magical being fallen under the sway of the Shadow Lord. The mist-like Shroud energies surround and obscure the creature. It has been given an unusual task, in that it is to find other members of the Fae to corrupt. Bringing them to the Shadow Lord's cause would grant him ever greater access to the powers of these magical beings.

The Unseen Stalker (Legendary) (NEW!)

The Unseen Stalker hunts the most powerful of prey. Heroes! Stalking them through any environment, regardless of weather or hardship, this invisible hunter will wear down and kill their prey, taking their skull as a trophy!

The Fallen Sword Team have been extremely busy recently with a significant overhaul of the app. This version of the app is out now, though there has been some delay with it becoming available on iOS. We're expecting the update to be available on iOS soon though; sorry for any inconvenience caused.

On the night of Oidhche Shamhna or Halloween as it is know to mortals, the evil known as Tattie Boggle arises. In his chosen form he roams the lands striking terror into the people and dragging his victims souls back to the underworld with him at the end of the night.

Bar flys and old travellers tell tales in taverns about the beautiful beast Zingiber Everclaw, a red haired werewolf that hunts man under the full moon intending to feed upon their still beating hearts. They say that hearing her howl is a sign your death is imminent. Unfortunately the tale they tell is true and Zingiber does stalk the dark forests of the world hunting for prey...

The Experiment is a horribly mutated creature said to have been created in an experiment that went wrong. It appears to have been a man fused with an insect or perhaps even an insect fused to a man or maybe it was something else and was turned into a man insect hybrid somehow? The truth was lost in the smoking crater that use to be the  lab it was created in.

Gozkon Gooulgez (Legendary)

Gozkon Gooulgez was ugly even for an Orc. As a whelp he was picked on by other Orcs and eventually abandoned by his tribe, left to die in the deadly swamps. Gooulgez survived however and has never forgotten those who hated him for his appearance. Now a masked and twisted creature full of hate he stalks the lands with his Machete, reaping bloody vengeance upon anyone not as ugly as himself...

Beardface (Legendary)

The crazed Dwarf only known as Beardface had many enemies and his beard was shaved of by them. This is greatest punishment a Dwarf can ever be given. The shame and the anger drove him over the edge and he went on the rampage with his trusty chainsaw, removing the bearded faces of his tormentors and wearing them so he can once again be bearded. He rampages still...

Dr Attila Barca (Legendary)

Dr Attila Barca aka 'Atilla the Killa' was once a highly respected surgeon and doctor. However behind closed doors he was a murderer and quite mad, often killing his patients and even cannibalising them. He was eventually caught and sent to an insane asylum for the rest of his days. However his lust for death and taste of human flesh prompted his escape from the asylum but not until he had eaten his way through the inmates and guards...

Ice Troll Appalikov (Legendary)

The Ice Troll Appalikov used to be an ordinary, happy troll until the fateful day he found a crystalline staff. Upon taking the staff, his mind fractured and his body changed into the form it is now. He enjoys deep cold and making snowmen out of unwilling victims. He now has control of ice and snow, gifted to him by the staff that robbed him of his sanity.

Pillock Trapdoor Guard (Legendary)

Pillock, the Trapdoor Guard is a troglodyte monster. No one know's where he comes from. All that is known is that he is the protector of a dungeon that may contain a great treasure...or a great evil with it. No one survives to get a look what's in the trapdoor as Pillock is a powerful fighter. He has been seen talking to the skull on his club. Occasionally, it talks back.

Tillexiaria Vulpine (Legendary)

Tillexiaria Vulpine is many things. Volatile, capricious, temperamental, impulsive, excitable, unpredictable & mercurial. This foul creature is a sorcerer and alchemist beyond compare and dabbles in science here and there too. Vulpine gets worked up into a frenzy over pretty much anything he's experimenting on or dissecting. Dissection is hardest. After all, he's always hungry and here he is, pulling snacks out of things!

Sauin (Legendary)

When Oidhche Shamhna rolls around in the year, there are plenty of people in the Realms who celebrate or perform the appropriate rituals. For those who do so, they ensure these rituals are completed correctly and with due diligence, for if they do not, they could receive a visit from the demon Sauin. His diminutive creature wanders the realms in an orange robe with a sack cloth mask. Those who do receive punishment from Sauin suffer a most gruesome end!

Chiller Zombie (Legendary)

It's the dead of night and from shadowy, foggy forest paths, high pitched Eee-Hees! and Woos! can be heard, echoing through the dark. Shambling from the fog, a garishly dressed zombie shuffles, swaggers and dances his way from the gloom, followed by an assortment of fellow undead, unnaturally following the dance in perfect sync!

Chest of Azrael (Legendary)

Duane Henten travels around the realms with a strange box. Within the box it his excised twin, Azrael. They travel seeking those who separated them, seeking bloody and final vengeance for the wrong done to them.

Scrim the Undertaker (Legendary)

Legends tell of a demon known as Scrim the Undertaker. This ghoulish creature haunts graveyards, searching for fresh dead to reanimate. What he does with these transformed revenants is unknown. What IS known is that in the absence of fresh dead, Srim will kill those living unfortunate to meet him. He does this with strange, demonically empowered metal balls that fly through the air and kill on contact.

Sullivan the Terror (Legendary) NEW!

A fearsome creature, well known to the young, Sullivan is a huge beast with purple fur and turquoise spots. He hides in the darkness, waiting for his prey to fall asleep before leaping out, roaring, terrifying his victims to death.

Congrats to the Fallen Sword community for unlocking the Ruby Tier in the Global Event! Once again the community worked together as a team to achieve this!
 
If you qualified during the event, your reward is now awaiting collection in your character mailbox :)
We hope you all enjoyed the event!
 
However, with this threat dealt with, Lady Nimue and Brother Richard have summoned you back to the the Cathedral of ways!
 
The following Quests are now active: Shade of the Stars, Specter of the Stars, Shroud of the Stars, Shadow of the Stars, Spirit of the Stars & finally, Daughter of the Stars!

Hello everyone!

This is the Fallen Sword Roadmap for November 2021 through to February 2022!

We've had to do a bit of reshuffling, such as moving the Loyalty Store Update and the Daily Quest update to November. As always, Halloween is quite a busy month, and while we are grateful for all the feedback we've received for the Loyalty Store update, we feel instead of rushing something out this month, we will save it for November.

Roadmaps serve as a guideline and are subject to change. Some things are secret, and if we feel we can squeeze something in we'll certainly try.

The Fallen Sword Mobile App is coming along nicely. We hope to give you more updates on that soon!

#1004855 Pinata Frenzy XXI & Caves!

Hi there everyone.
 
Global Event
 
The Demonic Pinatas have arisen from the Light only knows where. All that is known is that these creatures are roaming the Realms, raining destruction on all who oppose them. They seem to be immune to all weapons. However, Brother Giles of the Cathedral of Ways mentions that he seems to have an unending stock of Holy Pinata Bats at his shop.
 
The Warriors of the Realms must gather together to rid the Communities of these horrifying creatures!
 
Demonic Pinata (Level 25)

The latest Global Event in Fallen Sword is now underway! In the Event, the Community must work together to destroy the Demonic Pinatas plaguing the realms.
 
Each player must earn a personal target for increasingly bountiful Frag Stashes (mouse over the event info on the World page for more details) while also helping the Community to attain the best total kills possible, unlocking the rewards for all.
 
The Global Event shall be live until 14:00 (Server Time) on the 25th of August 2021.
 
For each tier that the community completes the reward will be as follows:
 
Bronze : 1 x Global Bronze Frag Stash II
Silver : 1 x Global Silver Frag Stash II
Gold : 2 x Global Gold Frag Stash II
Crystal : 2 x Global Crystal Frag Stash II
Ruby : 3 x Global Ruby Frag Stash II
 
If you qualified, the reward(s) will be delivered to your mailbox shortly after the event ends. Note that you get the reward for the tier that you have qualified for, for example if the community unlocks Gold, but you qualify for Silver, you will receive 1 x Global Silver Frag Stash. You don't receive the rewards from lower tiers, only the tier you have qualified for.
 
Also if you are placed within the top 100 event contributors you will receive 2 additional Ruby chest rewards.
 
There is a helpful forum post RIGHT HERE full of information on Global hunting grounds and so on compiled from the Community.

Balaur (Legendary)

Balaur is a giant reptile with three heads that constantly exhale a poisonous gas that can kill a man with but one lung-full. Balaur was until recently the captive pet of Warlord Kung on the forbidden island of Rozm until he escaped in an orgy of bloodshed and noxious gas. Having since left the island, Balaur is continuing his destruction against innocents and must be stopped...

Harvester of Lost Souls (Legendary)

At the end of Halloween the being known only as the Harvester of Lost Souls comes to reclaim the souls of the evil and bring them back to the shroud. The Harvester can be greedy at this time of year and often tries to bring back more souls than have escaped...

Barathor the Seer of Fire (Legendary)

Barathor, the Seer of Fire, is an ancient, otherworldly demonic being. His centuries of flame gazing have left him entirely blind but he still manages to see thanks to his Helm of Visions. Some say whatever he has seen over the ages has driven him quite mad, all that is known for sure is he is now using his mastery over fire as a weapon, incinerating all around him. He needs to be stopped!

Wily Minions (Legendary)

Wily Minions came to the realms innocently enough but in their naivety, soon fell under the pall of the Shadow Lord's dark agents, who corrupted every member of the clan. These minions have been imbued with the darkness of the Shroud, granting strength only the greatest of warriors can best. Beware, for they will corrupt you in their never ending quest for dominance.

The Unforgiven Queen (Legendary) (NEW!)

The Unforgiven Queen is a tragic figure. A proud monarch who lead with a firm, though fair hand, she was beloved! Such people gain enemies however and the Queen was no exception. She had turned away and banished a powerful witch from her kingdom. This vile creature would not allow this slight to stand, so cast a mighty curse against the Queen. She was bedevilled by visions and maddening sounds and, eventually, she snapped. Seeing enemies everywhere, she rampaged through her castle with her sword, slaying all who stood against her and those trying to escape. When she slew her own family, the curse lifted, allowing her to see what she'd done in the clear light of day with an untroubled mind. It broke her and she fled. Now, maddened and raving about bloody hands and lingering spectres only she can see, she roams the realms, seeking forgiveness but being utterly unable to forgive herself!

Hustlersattva (Legendary) (NEW)

Once a rich and powerful Merchant Lord, Hustlersattva negotiated trade deals at an epic scale. Trade deals that could mean the life and death of entire cities or even Kingdoms! Such power inevitably breeds a belief that you can do no wrong, so when a betrothed Princess, called Mercy, caught his eye, he pursued her. The feelings were reciprocated but the betrothal was set! Nothing could be done. The Princesses Father, the King, forbad further contact. Needless to say, neither Hustlersattva nor Mercy obeyed this edict and when found out, Mercy was taken away and Hustlersattva banished, with all assets seized. He can now be seen dressed in a monk robe and holding an empty bowl in one hand. He searches the realms for Mercy and, in her name, helps those that are suffering.
