We're just looking for your thoughts on us adding chat to the game. The idea would be to have it under the map and allow you to talk to all other online players. We could also do cool things like highlight chat messages from other players in your guild.

So basically, is this something you would like to see added to the game?

Only if it would be possible to link it to the ignore list? If I dont want to hear from players in a PM, i sure as heck don't want to speak to them in a fs wide chat

Sounds to me like you're talking about a chat similiar to the one from SigmaStorm2

I think the idea is good but could potentially get ugly. If there was a way to have a couple public chat rooms that could be joined and the ability to create private chat rooms and invite people to would be better.

Also, make sure it doesn't slow down the game mechanics. If it makes me move slower on the map, etc., then I'm not interested.

Perhaps have a toggle for it.

I like the idea. I assume we could enable/disable it in our preferences? And the ignore option suggested by Maehros too

A separate page for the chat room would be great


Public & private chat rooms need to be made available for all sorts of conversation

I'm for it . Ya'll could host ya'lls dev chat in it too so more players could participate. Just don't forget to add an option not to use for those that won't want to .

awesome idea, and yes it should be linked to ignore list, as well maybe an quick options next to the players name (like guild and ally lists have).

A World chat would be Awesome..yes needs to come with a block player mode..

All Online players or just the ones in map you already on?

Definitely NOT... make them continue to pay in the FSBox to spam their silly stuff... hey... I pay 1 FSP for my silly stuff and don't mind, lol.

Translation of the above... yeah, I know I can turn the FSBox off... please don't create another one that is FREE...

I always thought there should be a world chat. Great idea. Linking guild chat to a live system would be nice too
