I do NOT disrespect donators to the game. 

 

I have been a major donator in the past and may be again.  ATM I have no (ZERO) income, so am living off savings. Since every time I get close to drawing a pension our government changes the rules for retirement dates, so I have no idea how long my savings will have to last, therefore gaming is not a priority spend atm.

Some people do draw negative attention to those that donate.  Not saying you do.

Making fsp is not the be all and end all of this game.  Nor is titan hunting, leveling, pvp, gvg or anything else.

 

Time you respected that we all have our own priorities and do not need schooling by you.

Well that's where we can agree to disagree. If you want to game with big buffs and to upgrade your character faster than most or collect epics/other items you can either donate or put the time and effort in the game. Those wanting to learn how to play this game without having to spend boat loads of money my pm's are always open and i will gladly support anyone to the best of my ability.  i digress

I recommend you partake in other activities other than hunting. Your gimping yourself if that's all you do. Arena/inventing/SE hunting/merchanting etc etc... That's how you make the big bucks. GvG even. Of course your character will be inferior if you aren't taking full advantage of the game and all it has to offer. Your bound to fall behind. The people that get ahead are the people that partake in almost all aspects of the game. I understand it's not as easy on a tablet but hopefully the app is out soon.

The arena, an area that I have such a good track record in...  not an area where I'll ever profit....   inventing?  not for me.  you still have to farm stuff in some form to invent, might as well kill critters.....  SE hunting is NOT profitable, unless you know things I don't, like a market for drops....  Merchanting, again, something I'm not suited for....  It all smacks of work.  I'm old and ill, not long for this world.... I'm here to have fun, find joy, I care not one whit for profits.  As for GvG, I do that for the love of my guild, and for fun, I'll not sully it by demanding payment.

 

The thing you don't understand is that I don't care about making money, as long as I can break even and sustain my character for what's left of my lifetime, I'm happy. I just want others to have the opportunity to find joy as well....

I find most of my joy in titan hunting. I seldom do it but now i'm able too and i'm happy. Let's work together to find a happy medium for this quest and new system. I've proposed 3 potential tweaks and am currently open to the idea of personal tkp shop system aswell for those who aren't as fast as everyone else.

I think the new CD is unfair on the titans that aren't tied to a quest. Literally giving these guys another chance to secure on top of guild secure. 

 

It's their choice if they want to be in big guilds. They all (big and small guilds) have their pros and cons. If titan hunting in a big guild outweighs the pros for you, then leave and join/create a small guild. 

 

It just gets frustrating because something this big should at least have run through an in-game poll or something. Can't remember the last time we had one.

Example #1 All of the guilds listed got TKP. All of the individual players listed spent time, buffs, and stamina and got NOTHING

Example #2 I solo secured that titan, My guild was on cool down. I received a drop. Every one else on that list is a Guild. They both received TKP for their efforts

Example #3 First and second place are guilds. First place killed over half and received a drop second place guild got TKP. Myself and Josh got NOTHING. 

 

There is no individual TKP. When you hit for your guild the points are saved. When you hit for solo secure, you either Finish first and get a drop or get NOTHING. Nothing is saved, no tkp, no nothing. All you did was help kill the titan faster and burn a bunch of stam.

It was nothing personal. I just took a screenshot of what I saw at the time. I was just trying to say that players can double profit from the titans ie hunting via guild and securing and then doing it individually. I wasn't talking about individual TKP. Especially with the bigger Titans, it is easy to get solo secures individually.

I have an opinion on all this bickering about what's fair and what's not......I don't care. 

 

I'm the worst titan hunter in the game. It will likely take me until next year to finish the quest. I don't care. 

 

Some people may make a decent profit from this system. I don't care.

 

Some others (like me) will never gain a drop. I don't care.

 

Folks, this is a game. Games are meant for entertainment. If all you plan on doing is complaining, then maybe this isn't the outlet you need to focus your time on. Some of you are complaining that EP and a couple others might get 2 drops....Who gives a rats ass? If they spent the currency to do these things....it's not your business. Go outside. Breathe some real air. This computer game isn't life, and it certainly isn't so serious to warrant pages and pages of arguing. There are real problems in the world, probably closer to you than you think. Spend the energy on fixing them. Not a titans TKP.

quest finished after about 6 runs at the titan, using teleport 175 and quest hunter 150..

its not easy in there but it isnt meant to be easy. its an epic quest.

No it's not. 1.5m exp is basically nothing when you're above level 1500, the level 225 shield is garbage, and the other two epics are level 3100, and 3400. There is no point in even bothering with this quest if you're below level 3100, and that's without even mentioning the fact that you'll have to spend another 150+ fsp to get the SE items that are also needed for inventing the epics. Hell I can't even hunt the regular seasonal titans because of all the greedy EOC players running around with teleport 200+ on making it impossible for me to be faster than them.

Hi Grim, not So much about individuals accruing tkp as it is about faster individuals losing and costing slower hunters potential kills, I know that even with teleport several times I personally moved only to find the titan already dead on that square.

There needs to be another balance to how this is working.

I am guessing there are approximately 400 players level 3100 and above when this event is over I guess you can see exactly how many claimed the lesser inventing item. And how many tried and became Frustrated with it and gave up.

 

The second issue with this is genuinely fast Titan hunters can now get 2 to 3 drops per cool down cycle without any guild involvement.

So you will never hear them complain about the change

BG, this debate has convinced me that it's pointless for me to try to hunt this, .  The quest is past being Epic, it's impossible for anyone on a touchscreen device.   Frankly, it's not worth my limited time or my data to try.  I'm not saying to change it, that's your call, but imho, this many kills for a once a year Titan is unrealistic for a quest, even with QH....  Only those with powerful computers, super fast connections, and that $60 pot appear to be finishing the quest.  Do what you think is best, just know the natives will be restless about this for some time to come.  Let them vent as long as it doesn't become abusive.

You do not need to donate 60$ to acquire high level teleport. I know i didn't. It is my understanding BG created this quest to be a challenge. As he has stood firm throughout which is where i derived that assumption from. This is a game you win some and lose some. Some people are gonna lose and they are gonna be mad that's how games work. As far as titan speed goes HCS servers will only accept data at certain speeds idc if you have 1000gbps connection they throttle it and only accept so much data at a time. You do not need a super fast connection and super computer to be quick. You just need good ping to the HCS cloud servers that are seeded throughout the world. It comes down to ping which is essentially the amount of time it takes your device to send data to the cows servers. Ever since the cows started hosting the servers via the cloud everyone more or less has been more equal in speed.

 

for those curious on your ping go ahead and open up your command prompt on your PC and type ping fallensword.com and you will see your ping. I'm generally around a 15-20.

 

Upload speed and download speeds do have a little bit to do with it but FS run's off minuscule amounts of data.

Is HCS staff really just going to ignore this? Neither of the them have gotten nearly enough TKP to secure Gospa, yet they both received an item:

In both cases they should have received nothing since their guild is on cool down and failed to get 50% or more of the total kills solo. There is obviously a substantial glitch that people are abusing either intentionally or unintentionally. I would assume the latter. But this isnt the first time this has occured, I saw this posted earlier in the thread as well and staff still havent addressed it.. This is something that needs to be fixed and not glazed over. As far as I know, this is the only titan that is affected right now.

Like stated previously what is there to ignore? It has been like this forever? Non guild titan hunting 1st place = you get the item. It's been like this i imagine since the inception of TH likely.

 

TL:DR they programmed it like that it's not an exploit a glitch or exploit.

 

The message is even different from guild. Don't believe me take a look for yourself.
